Abstract

The invention relates to a memory card (10) for a mobile telephone, and a data-transfer method. The memory card according to the invention includes a receiver, which is able to receive information from at least one peripheral device (2, 4, 5) of a wristop computer, or from a wristop computer (3).

Claims

1. A memory card (10) for a mobile telephone,

characterized in that

it includes a receiver, which is able to receive information from at least one measuring device (2, 4, 5).

2. A memory card (10) according to claim 1, characterized in that it includes a receiver, which is able to receive information from at least one peripheral device (2, 4, 5) of a wristop computer.

3. A memory card (10) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the receiver is arranged to receive information directly from the peripheral device (2, 4, 5).

4. A memory card (10) according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the receiver is arranged to receive information from the peripheral device (2, 4, 5) through a wristop computer (3).

5. A memory card (10) according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the receiver is analog.

6. A memory card (10) according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the receiver is digital.

7. A memory card (10) according to any of claims 1-5, characterized in that the receiver is digital.

8. A memory card (10) according to any of the above claims, characterized in that it includes an antenna (13) for receiving a signal.

9. A memory card (10) according to any of the above claims, characterized in that, in the operating situation, it is protected inside the mobile telephone (1).

10. A memory card (10) according to any of the above claims, characterized in that it is implemented using a multi-layer circuit-board technology, in which at least part of the integrated circuits are embedded in the circuit-board structure.

11. A memory card (10) according to any of the above claims, characterized in that it includes a pressure or temperature sensor, or both of these.

18. A method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that an antenna (13), which is adapted to the data-transmission frequency being used, is located in the memory card (10).

19. A method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that it is implemented using a multi-layer circuit-board technology, in which at least some of the integrated circuits are embedded inside the circuit-board structure.

20. A method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the data of several users is transferred in a centralized manner to a single memory card (10).

21. A method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that data is transferred in both directions between a peripheral device (2, 4, 5) and the memory card (10).

22. A method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that data is transferred in both directions between a peripheral device (2, 4, 5) and the memory card (10).

23. A method according to any of the above claims, characterized in that the memory-card receiver (10) is used to measure temperature or pressure, or both of these.

12. A data-transfer method, in which

a signal is forwarded for processing from at least one measuring device (2, 4, 5),

characterized in that

the data is received by the mobile station (1), with the aid of a memory-card receiver (10) located in it.

13. A method according to claim 12, characterized in that information is received in the memory card (10) directly from the peripheral device (2, 4, 5).

14. A method according to claim 12, characterized in that the information is received in the memory card (10) through a wristop computer (3).

15. A method according to claim 12, characterized in that the transmission is digital.

16. A method according to claim 12, characterized in that the transmission is analog.

17. A method according to claim 12, characterized in that, in the operating situation, the memory-card receiver (10) is located inside the mobile telephone (1).
