Abstract

With a digital camera 100, a photographed image 31 is displayed on a liquid crystal display and the user selects a desired image and specifies print specifications of the number of print sheets, a print paper size, a print color mode, etc., then print image data is prepared. The prepared print image data is transmitted from the digital camera 100 to a color printer of an output unit. An image is printed at the color printer in accordance with the print image data.

Claims

1. A digital camera comprising:

a photoelectric converter which executes photoelectric conversion of image pickup light;

a recording medium which records the conversion result by the conversion unit as image data;

an image data selector which selects desired image data from the recording medium;

a display which displays an image corresponding to the desired image data, and which also displays a menu by which a user can select a communication terminal; and

a transmitter which transmits the desired image data to the communication terminal via a communication link.

2. The digital camera according to claim 1, wherein the communication link is wireless.

3. A digital camera method, comprising:

executing photoelectric conversion of image pickup light;

recording the conversion result, on a recording medium of a digital camera, as image data;

selecting desired image data from the recording medium;

displaying on a display an image corresponding to the desired image data;

displaying a menu by which a user can select a communication terminal; and

transmitting the desired image data to the communication terminal via a communication link.

4. The digital camera method according to claim 3, wherein the communication link is wireless.

5. A digital system, comprising:

a communication terminal;

a photoelectric converter which executes photoelectric conversion of image pickup light;

a recording medium which records the conversion result by the conversion unit as image data;

an image data selector which selects desired image data from the recording medium;

a display which displays an image corresponding to the desired image data, and which also displays a menu by which a user can select the communication terminal; and

a transmitter which transmits the desired image data to the communication terminal via a communication link.

6. The digital system according to claim 5, wherein the communication link is wireless.
