Abstract

The present invention provides a display rack including a plurality of slidable channel trays, so that each of the channel trays can be slid out of the display case at the time of refilling new articles behind the old articles. A display rack comprises a plurality of display rack modules wherein a display rack module comprises a channel base secured on wire shelves of a display case and a channel tray which is mounted slidably on the channel base. Slidable mounting means comprises a pair of guide grooves and a pair of guide rails to be slidably engaged with the guide grooves, wherein one pair are extended downwardly from the bottom surface of the channel tray and the other pair are extended upwardly from the upper surface of the channel base. Stopper means to limit the traveling distance of the channel tray from the channel base and to secure the channel tray on the channel base in refilling mode are also provided.

Claims

1. A display rack module comprising a channel base to be fixed in the display case, and a channel tray mounted slidably on the channel base to be slid out forwardly from and returned backwardly onto the channel base.

2. The display rack module as claimed in claim 1, wherein said channel base has a pair of guide rails which are protruded upwardly along both longitudinal side end portions on the upper surface;

and

said channel tray has a pair of guide grooves opened downwardly along both longitudinal side end portions on the bottom surface, which are mated slidably with the guide rails of the channel base.

The display rack module as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of said guide grooves has an outer linear member extended downwardly from the longitudinal side end portions of the bottom surface of the channel tray, and an inner member which depends from the bottom surface and forms a space with the outer linear member to be mated with the guide rail slidably;

and

each of said guide rails has an abutment stop which is formed vertically from the front end of said guide rail toward the longitudinal side end of said channel base to abut the front end of the outer linear member of the guide groove,

4. The display rack module as claimed in claim 3, wherein said channel base has an elongate guide slot along the longitudinal center line and an enlarged insertion hole at the rear end of the elongate guide slot;

and

said channel tray has a protrusion which is protruded downwardly from the rear portion of the bottom surface to be mated slidably with the elongate guide slot and has an enlarged head at the free end to be inserted into the insertion hole of the channel base.

5. The display rack module as claimed in claim 1, wherein said channel base has a pair of guide rails protruded upwardly along both longitudinal side end portions on the upper surface, each of which has a linear projection and an enlarged rail member on the top;

and

said channel tray has a pair of guide grooves extended downwardly along both longitudinal side end portions on the bottom surface, each of which has a pair of outer and inner L shaped members to form a hollow space to support and hold the enlarged rail member therein with the bent free ends of the L shaped members facing each other with a space to form a elongate slit to be engaged slidably with the linear projection therebetween.

6. The display rack module as claimed in claim 5, wherein said linear projection has a abutment stop which is bent vertically from the front end of the linear projection toward the longitudinal side end of said channel base to abut the front end of the outer L shaped member,

7. The display rack module as claimed in claim 6, wherein said outer L shaped member has a supporting groove near the rear end, so that the supporting groove mates with the abutment stop of the linear projection when the channel tray is slit out of the channel base.

8. The display rack module as claimed in claim 6, wherein said channel base has a stopping member which stands uprightly or slanted backwardly at the front portion of the upper surface;

and

said channel tray has a latch member which depends vertically or is slanted forwardly at the rear portion of the bottom surface.

9. The display rack module as claimed in claim 1, wherein said channel tray has a pair of guide grooves extended downwardly along both longitudinal side end portions on the bottom surface, each of which has a groove opened toward the longitudinal side end of the channel tray;

and

said channel base has a pair of L shaped longitudinal projections which are erected from the longitudinal side end portions of the upper surface and bent inwardly to form longitudinal projections to be inserted into the guide grooves slidably.

10. The display rack module as claimed in claim 9, wherein said channel base has a pair of stoppers protruded upwardly from the upper surface near the front end;

and

said channel tray has a plurality of reinforcement members vertically positioned against both longitudinal sides of the bottom surface and having a pair of passages through which the stoppers of the channel base can pass, a front stopper positioned in front of the reinforcement members near the front end, and at least one rear stopper which is positioned behind the reinforcement members at the rear portion, wherein the front stopper and the rear stopper are positioned in parallel with the reinforcement members and abut the pair of stoppers of channel base in displaying mode and in refilling mode, respectively.

The display rack module as claimed in claim 10, wherein said groove of the guide groove of the channel tray has at least one projection is protruded upwardly and vertically against the longitudinal projection of the guide rail of the channel base and is positioned behind the rear stopper to occupy the space between the longitudinal projection and the groove.

The display rack module as claimed in claim 1, wherein said channel base has at least two hooks which are extended downwardly from its bottom surface and are bent vertically toward the front end of the channel base or toward the rear end of the channel base, so that each of the hook is inserted into space between two lateral wires of the display case and fixed at a lateral wire.

13. The display rack module as claimed in claim 1, wherein said channel base has at least one key and key-hole at opposite side members.

14. The display rack module as claimed in claim 1, wherein said channel tray has an upstanding front wall having a knob extended forwardly, which has a recess on the front surface for attaching a label(s) of trademark and/or price of the stocked articles.

The display rack module as claimed in claim 1, wherein said channel tray has an opening at the front to view entirely a lead article and a pair of supporting lips extended inwardly and transversely from the upper portions, and a knob is extended forwardly from the lower end or bottom of the opening.

16. The display rack module as claimed in claim 13, wherein said channel tray has a pair of upstanding side walls along the longitudinal side end portions, and the side walls have a groove at the top, respectively to be mated with a key of said channel base.

17. A display rack comprising a plurality of display rack modules as claimed in claim 1 connected with each other to be fixed in a display case.

18. A display rack comprising a common base fixed in a display case and having a plurality of channels laterally side-by-side, each of which has construction corresponding to the channel base claimed in claim 1;

and

a plurality of channel trays as claimed in claim 1 which are slidably mounted on the channels of the common base, respectively.

19. A display rack comprising at least one common base fixed in display case and having at least two channels laterally side-by-side, wherein each of channels has construction corresponding to the channel base as claimed in claim 1;

at least one channel base as claimed in claim 1;

and

a plurality of channel trays as claimed in claim 1 which are slidably mounted on the channels of the common base(s) and on the channel base(s), respectively.

20. The display rack as claimed in claim 19, wherein said common base and said channel base have at least one key and key-hole at opposite longitudinal side members, respectively.
