1. A vessel isolation device, comprising:

  • a noninflatable expandable body, reversibly expandable from a low profile collapsed state to a generally hourglass-shaped expanded state, including a proximal portion having at least one inlet formed therein, a distal portion having at least one outlet formed therein, the outlet being in fluid communication with the inlet, and a neck portion disposed between the proximal and distal portions; and

    a blood impermeable sleeve disposed about the neck portion of the expandable body and at least a portion of the proximal and distal portions of the expandable body, the sleeve being reversibly expandable with the expandable body from the collapsed state to the expanded state, wherein the sleeve is placed in apposition to a vessel wall adjacent to the proximal portion and the distal portion when the expandable body is in the expanded state, creating an isolated treatment space.
