Abstract

A portable electronic device. A main body includes a first surface and a second surface opposite thereto. A display screen is disposed on the first surface and is electrically connected to the main body. A touchpad is disposed on the second surface and is electrically connected to the main body and display screen, providing a user to access or deal with data displayed on the display screen.

Claims

1. A portable electronic device, comprising:

a main body, with a first surface and a second surface opposite thereto;

a display screen disposed on the first surface and electrically connected to the main body; and

a touchpad disposed on the second surface and electrically connected to the main body and display screen, providing a user to access or deal with data displayed on the display screen.

2. The portable electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the display screen comprises an LCD touch panel.

3. The portable electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the touchpad comprises a linear graphical interface pad.

4. The portable electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the touchpad comprises a nonlinear graphical interface pad.

5. The portable electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the portable electronic device comprises a PDA.

6. The portable electronic device as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a switch device disposed on the main body for enabling or disabling the touchpad.

7. The portable electronic device as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a cover disposed on the main body, protecting the touchpad from damage or unexpected touching when the touchpad is not in operation.

8. The portable electronic device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the display screen is disposed on the front side of the main body, and the touchpad is disposed on the backside of the main body.
