A method for use with a resource scheduling system that includes a schedule that at least one of associates resource time slots with scheduled client matters and associates scheduled recall procedures with schedule times, each scheduled recall procedure for generating at least one recall notice at a corresponding schedule time indicating a possible client matter to be scheduled, each of the scheduled client matters and scheduled recall procedures being a scheduled item, the schedule including scheduled item information associated with each of the scheduled items, the method for facilitating schedule management and comprising the steps of:
- receiving recall information for a possible recall procedure that may be scheduled;
comparing the received recall information with at least a subset of the scheduled item information to identify at least one scheduled item that may be related to the possible recall procedure; and
performing at least a portion of a scheduling process as a function of the at least one identified scheduled item.
