Abstract

When there is an inquiry about a deficiency point from a user who received a print product, a service provider side can properly deal with the inquiry. A server receives warning information on an edit process generated when the edit process not satisfying a preset condition is performed and edit data generated in the edit process, and associates with each other and registers the warning information and edit data.

Claims

1. An information processing apparatus comprising:

reception unit adapted to receive order data including a plurality of contents and warning information generated if said contents don'"'"'t satisfy a predetermined condition; and

warning information registering unit adapted to register said warning information related to said order data.

2. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising transmission unit adapted to, responsive to a request from an external apparatus, transmit information corresponding to said request among the information registered in said warning information registering means, to said external apparatus.

5. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising:

inquiry registering unit adapted to, when a customer issued an inquiry about said order data associated with said warning information, register said order data related to contents of said inquiry; and

notification unit adapted to, when a re-order regarding said order data registered in said inquiry registering means is received, notify that the re-order cannot be accepted.

6. An information processing apparatus comprising:

warning information generating unit adapted to generate warning information if there are contents not satisfying a predetermined condition; and

transmission unit adapted to transmit, to an external apparatus, order data including a plurality of contents and said warning information generated by said warning information generating means.

7. The information processing apparatus according to claim 6, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

8. The information processing apparatus according to claim 6 or 7, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

9. An information processing apparatus for transmitting order data including a plurality of contents to an external apparatus via a communication line, comprising:

warning information generating unit adapted to generate warning information if said contents do not satisfy a predetermined condition; and

transmission unit adapted to transmit said order data and said warning information,

wherein said warning information includes identification information for identifying said contents not satisfying said predetermined condition.

10. The information processing apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said warning information includes kinds of warning and said kinds of warning are related to said identification information.

11. The information processing apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said identification information corresponds to a frame of a template in which a plurality of image are laid out.

12. The information processing apparatus according to claim 9, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

13. The information processing apparatus according to claim 9 or 12, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

14. An information processing system comprising:

a first information processing system comprising;

warning information generating unit adapted to generate warning information if there are contents not satisfying a predetermined condition; and

transmission unit adapted to transmit, to an external apparatus, order data including a plurality of contents and said warning information generated by said warning information generating means; and

a second information processing system comprising;

reception unit adapted to receive said warning information and said order information transmitted from said transmission means; and

warning information registering unit adapted to register said warning information related to said order data.

15. The information processing system according to claim 14, wherein said warning information includes identification information for identifying said contents not satisfying said predetermined condition.

16. An information processing method comprising:

a reception step of receiving order data including a plurality of contents and warning information generated if said contents do not satisfy a predetermined condition; and

a warning information registering step of registering said warning information related to said order data.

17. The information processing method according to claim 16, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

18. The information processing method according to claim 16 or 17, wherein said contents, include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

19. The information processing method according to claim 16, further comprising a transmission step of, responsive to a request from an external apparatus, transmitting information corresponding to said request among the information registered in said warning information registering step, to said external apparatus.

20. The information processing method according to claim 16, further comprising:

an inquiry registering step of, when a customer issued an inquiry about said-order data associated with said warning information, registering said order data related to contents of said inquiry; and

a notification step of, when a re-order regarding said order data registered in said inquiry registering step is received, notifying that the re-order cannot be accepted.

21. An information processing method comprising:

a warning information generating step of generating warning information if there are contents not satisfying a predetermined condition; and

a transmission step of transmitting, to an external apparatus, order data including a plurality of contents and said warning information generated in said warning information generating step.

22. The information processing method according to claim 21, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

23. The information processing method according to claim 21 or 22, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

24. An information processing method of transmitting order data including a plurality of contents to an external apparatus via a communication line, comprising:

a warning information generating step of generating warning information if said contents do not satisfy a predetermined condition; and

a transmission step of transmitting said order data and said warning information,

wherein said warning information includes identification information for identifying said contents not satisfying said predetermined condition.

25. The information processing method according to claim 24, wherein said warning information includes kinds of warning and said kinds of warning are related to said identification information.

26. The information processing method according to claim 24 or 25, wherein said identification information corresponds to a frame of a template in which a plurality of image data are laid out.

27. The information processing method according to claim 24, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

28. The information processing method according to claim 24 or 27, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

29. A computer program product stored on a computer-readable memory medium and embodying a computer-executable program for implementing a method for processing information, comprising:

a reception step of receiving order data including a plurality of contents and warning information generated if said contents do not satisfy a predetermined condition; and

a warning information registering step of registering said warning information related to said order data.

30. A computer program product according to claim 29, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

31. A computer program product according to claim 29 or 30, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

32. A computer program product according to claim 29, wherein the program further comprises a transmission step of, responsive to a request from an external apparatus, transmitting information corresponding to said request among the information registered in said warning information registering step, to said external apparatus.

33. A computer program product according to claim 29, wherein the method further comprises:

an inquiry registering step of, when a customer issued an inquiry about said order data associated with said warning information, registering said order data related to contents of said inquiry; and

a notification step of, when a re-order regarding said order data registered in said inquiry registering step is received, notifying that the re-order cannot be accepted.

34. A computer program product stored on a computer-readable memory medium and embodying a computer-executable program for implementing a method for processing information, comprising:

a warning information generating step of generating warning information if there are contents not satisfying a predetermined condition; and

a transmission step of transmitting, to an external apparatus, order data including a plurality of contents and said warning information generated in said warning information generating step.

35. A computer program product according to claim 34, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

36. A computer program product according to claim 34 or 35, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.

37. A computer program product stored on a computer-readable memory medium and embodying a computer-executable program for implementing a method for transmitting order data including a plurality of contents to an external apparatus via a communication line, comprising:

a warning information generating step of generating warning information if said contents do not satisfy a predetermined condition; and

a transmission step of transmitting said order data and said warning information,

wherein said warning information includes identification information for identifying said contents not satisfying said predetermined condition.

38. A computer program product according to claim 37, wherein said warning information includes kinds of warning and said kinds of warning are related to said identification information.

39. A computer program product according to claim 37 or 38, wherein said identification information corresponds to a frame of said template in which a plurality of image data are laid out.

40. A computer program product according to claim 37, wherein said contents include image data and said warning information includes information on at least one of an insufficient resolution, a red-eye, a camera shake, a defocus, an overexposure and an underexposure.

41. A computer program product according to claim 37 or 40, wherein said contents include character data and said warning information includes information indicating that at least one of an information amount and a character size of said character data is out of a predetermined condition.
