Abstract

The invention relates to a blood bag cup, which is designed as a double cup with two individual cups with two separate chambers, once for accommodating the withdrawal and inflation bag and once for accommodating the satellite bags. The respective chamber for the satellite bags is preferably jointed. Advantages are an extremely high separation efficiency factor with maximum plasma yield with pure plasma and more than 50% time savings based on the doubled design of the double-chambered double cup.

Claims

1. Blood bag cup for separating blood components located in bags, whereby the cup is designed as a double cup with two individual cups, characterized in that each individual cup of the double cup is designed with two separate chambers, once for accommodating the withdrawal and inflation bag and once for accommodating the satellite bags.

2. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that each of the chambers for the satellite bags can be closed via a hinged chamber flap, which is swivel-mounted to the other cup via a joint along a vertical and/or horizontal joint axis.

3. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that a tube guide wing, which can in particular be pivoted and serves as a guide for the connection tubes between the bags, is provided between the adjacent chambers of the double cup, whereby the connection tubes thereby receive a vertical alignment.

4. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the two cups are located next to each other like mirror images.

5. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the two cups attached to each other via a handle.

6. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the two chambers of both cups of the double cup for the withdrawal and inflation bags are arranged directly or indirectly next to each other and the chambers for the satellite bags are arranged further apart.

Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that check valves are arranged for the supply of compressed air to the inflation bag in the area of the handle, preferably below the handle, so that the inflation bags also remain pressurized when separated from the source of compressed air.

8. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that the two cups are located next to each other like mirror images.

9. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 3, characterized in that the two cups are located next to each other like mirror images.

10. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that the two cups attached to each other via a handle.

11. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 3, characterized in that the two cups attached to each other via a handle.

13. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that the two chambers of both cups of the double cup for the withdrawal and inflation bags are arranged directly or indirectly next to each other and the chambers for the satellite bags are arranged further apart.

14. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 3, characterized in that the two chambers of both cups of the double cup for the withdrawal and inflation bags are arranged directly or indirectly next to each other and the chambers for the satellite bags are arranged further apart.

15. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 4, characterized in that the two chambers of both cups of the double cup for the withdrawal and inflation bags are arranged directly or indirectly next to each other and the chambers for the satellite bags are arranged further apart.

16. Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 5, characterized in that the two chambers of both cups of the double cup for the withdrawal and inflation bags are arranged directly or indirectly next to each other and the chambers for the satellite bags are arranged further apart.

Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 2, characterized in that check valves are arranged for the supply of compressed air to the inflation bag in the area of the handle, preferably below the handle, so that the inflation bags also remain pressurized when separated from the source of compressed air.

Blood bag cup in accordance with claim 3, characterized in that check valves are arranged for the supply of compressed air to the inflation bag in the area of the handle, preferably below the handle, so that the inflation bags also remain pressurized when separated from the source of compressed air.
