Abstract

A motor stator section (3a) is furnished with a busbar (51) attached to an armature (3), and with a circuit board (52) attached to the busbar (51). A parts accommodation recess (516) is formed in the busbar (51) surface that opposes the circuit board (52), and a holding recess (512), in which is anchored a sensor holder (54) that retains Hall sensors (53) mounted on the circuit board (52) is formed in the busbar (51) inner circumferential surface. Further, grooves are formed in the circuit board (52), the sensor holder (54), and the busbar (51), wherein fitting a jig (9) to these grooves enables high-precision assembly of these components.

Claims

1. An electrically powered motor for assisting vehicular driving operations, the motor comprising:

a stator section including an armature having a first alignment feature in which a predefined jig seats;

a rotor section having a field magnet for generating, between itself and said armature, torque that centers on a predetermined center axis;

a bearing mechanism, centered on the center axis, for rotatably supporting said rotor section with respect to said stator section;

said stator section therein being furnished with

a sensor for detecting the position of said field magnet, and

a sensor mounting member having a second alignment feature in which the jig seats and between the first alignment feature and which a locating gauge is defined, and also in which said sensor is mounted and which is fixed either directly or indirectly to said armature.

2. A motor as set forth in claim 1, wherein:

said armature comprises

a core, and

a plurality of teeth provided on the core, the teeth arranged radially converging on the center axis, with the teeth forward edges directed toward the center axis;

the second alignment feature is provided in a center-axis-paralleling rim surface of the sensor mounting member; and

the first alignment feature is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the core.

3. A motor as set forth in claim 2, wherein:

the first alignment feature is one gap among a plurality of gaps, paralleling the center axis, between the forward edges of said plurality of teeth; and

the second alignment feature is provided on a straight line, parallel to the center axis, extending from said one gap.

4. An electrically powered motor for assisting vehicular driving operations, the motor comprising:

a stator section having an armature;

a rotor section having a field magnet for generating, between itself and said armature, torque that centers on a predetermined center axis;

a bearing mechanism, centered on the center axis, for rotatably supporting said rotor section with respect to said stator section;

said stator section therein being furnished with

a busbar, disposed on an upper end of said armature with respect to its orientation extending along the center axis, having a first recess in an upper surface thereof and inside of which conductors for supplying drive current to said armature are provided, and

a circuit board installed so as to cover the first recess in said busbar, and on which are mounted first electronic components disposed so as to be accommodated in the first recess.

5. A motor as set forth in claim 4, wherein said circuit board is fixed to said busbar by thermal welding.

6. A motor as set forth in claim 4, wherein:

said busbar has a second recess in the upper surface thereof; and

a second electronic component, whose terminals are inserted into holes in said circuit board, is mounted on a surface of said circuit board on it busbar side, bringing the surface of the second electronic component on its busbar side into adjacent an opposing surface in the second recess in said busbar.

7. An electrically powered motor for assisting vehicular driving operations, the motor comprising:

a stator section having an armature;

a rotor section having a field magnet for generating, between itself and said armature, torque that centers on a predetermined center axis;

a bearing mechanism, centered on the center axis, for rotatably supporting said rotor section with respect to said stator section;

said stator section therein being furnished with

a busbar, disposed on one end of said armature with respect to its orientation extending along the center axis, and inside of which conductors for supplying drive current to said armature are provided, and

a circuit board installed on said busbar,

a sensor disposed on the busbar side of said circuit board, for detecting the position of said field magnet, and

a sensor mounting member for retaining said sensor, said sensor mounting member having an engagement part for engaging with said busbar, and being fixed to a surface of the circuit board on its busbar side.

8. A motor as set forth in claim 7, wherein:

a leading-edge face of the sensor mounting member opposite its circuit-board side opposes a portion of said busbar, and said engagement part is furnished with a leading-edge projection projecting from said leading-edge face toward said busbar; and

said busbar has an engagement recess into which said leading-edge projection inserts.

9. A motor as set forth in claim 7, wherein:

a lateral surface of said sensor mounting member opposes said busbar, and said engagement part is furnished with a lateral-surface projection that juts out from said lateral surface, heading toward the busbar for an extent, then juts heading reverse to the circuit board; and

said busbar has an engagement recess into which said lateral-surface projection inserts.

10. A motor as set forth in claim 7, wherein said circuit board is fixed to said busbar by thermal welding.

11. A motor as set forth in claim 7, wherein:

said busbar is roughly cylindrical in form, and is furnished with an arcuate holding recess in its inner circumferential surface; and

said sensor mounting member is of arcuate form for accommodation by said holding recess.

12. A motor as set forth in claim 7, wherein:

a first alignment feature in which a predefined jig seats is provided in said armature; and

a second alignment feature in which the jig seats and between the first alignment feature and which a locating gauge is defined is provided in said sensor mounting member.

13. A motor as set forth in claim 12, wherein:

said armature comprises

a core, and

a plurality of teeth provided on the core, the teeth arranged radially converging on the center axis, with the teeth forward edges directed toward the center axis;

the second alignment feature is provided in a center-axis-paralleling rim surface of the sensor mounting member; and

the first alignment feature is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the core.

14. A motor as set forth in claim 13, wherein:

the first alignment feature is one gap among a plurality of gaps, paralleling the center axis, between the forward edges of said plurality of teeth; and

the second alignment feature is provided on a straight line, parallel to the center axis, extending from said one gap.

15. A motor as set forth in claim 12, wherein a groove feature that matches circumferential position with the first alignment feature and with the second alignment feature is provided in said circuit board.

16. A motor as set forth in claim 13, wherein a groove feature that matches circumferential position with the first alignment feature and with the second alignment feature is provided in said circuit board.

17. A motor as set forth in claim 14, wherein a groove feature that matches circumferential position with the first alignment feature and with the second alignment feature is provided in said circuit board.
