Abstract

An information processor for preventing information contained in a file, which has a first area storing first data, a second area storing second data and a third area, from being lost when a format of the file is transformed includes extension unit for extending the second area, a first storage for storing the first data, which is stored in the first area, in the third area, a format analyzer for reconstructing the second data stored in the second area on the basis of a first format and an extended area storage for storing the reconstructed second data in the extended second area.

Claims

1. An information processor for transforming a first file having a first format in which a first area for storing first data and a second area for storing second data are arranged to a second file having a second format in which a third area for storing the first data is arranged and a fourth area for storing the second data is not arranged, comprising:

extension means for extending an area of the second file;

first storage means for storing the first data stored in the first area in the third area;

reconstruction means for reconstructing the second data stored in the second area on the basis of the first format; and

second storage means for storing the second data reconstructed by said reconstruction means in said area extended by said extension means.

An information processor as claimed in claim 1, further comprising memory means for storing first data list, wherein said reconstruction means decides whether or not the second data is stored in the first file on the basis of the list stored by the memory means and, when the second data is stored in the first file, reconstructs the second data.

An information processing method for transforming a first file having a first format in which a first area for storing first data and a second area for storing second data are arranged to a second file having a second format in which a third area for storing the first data is arranged and a fourth area for storing the second data is not arranged, comprising the steps of:

extending an area of the second file;

storing the first data stored in the first area in the third area;

reconstructing the second data stored in the second area on the basis of the first format; and

storing the second data reconstructed by the reconstructing step in the extended area extended by the extending step.

A program for causing a computer to a transforming processing for transforming a first file having a first format in which a first area for storing first data and a second area for storing second data are arranged to a second file having a second format in which a third area for storing the first data is arranged and a fourth area for storing the second data is not arranged, comprising the steps of:

extending an area of the second file;

storing the first data stored in the first area in the third area;

reconstructing the second data stored in the second area on the basis of the first format; and

storing the second data reconstructed by the reconstructing step in the extended area extended by the extending step.

A recording medium recorded with a program for causing a computer to a transforming processing for transforming a first file having a first format in which a first area for storing first data and a second area for storing second data are arranged to a second file having a second format in which a third area for storing the first data is arranged and a fourth area for storing the second data is not arranged, the program comprising the steps of:

extending an area of the second file;

storing the first data stored in the first area in the third area;

reconstructing the second data stored in the second area on the basis of the first format; and

storing the second data reconstructed by the reconstructing step in the extended area extended by the extending step.

An information processor for transforming a second file having a second format, in which a first area for storing first data and an extended area for storing third data, which is a reconstructed second data on the basis of a first format of a first file, are arranged, to the first file, in which a second area for storing the first data and a third area for storing the second data are arranged, comprising:

first storage means for storing the first data stored in the first area in the second area;

extraction means for extracting the second data from the third data; and

second storage means for storing the second data extracted by said extraction means in the third area.

An information processing method of an information processor for transforming a second file having a second format, in which a first area for storing first data and an extended area for storing third data, which is a reconstructed second data on the basis of a first format of a first file, are arranged, to the first file, in which a second area for storing the first data and a third area for storing the second data are arranged, comprising the steps of:

storing the first data stored in the first area in the second area;

extracting the second data from the third data; and

storing the second data extracted by said extracting step in the third area.

A program for causing a computer to transform a second file having a second format, in which a first area for storing first data and an extended area for storing third data, which is a reconstructed second data on the basis of a first format of a first file, are arranged, to the first file, in which a second area for storing the first data and a third area for storing the second data are arranged, comprising the steps of:

storing the first data stored in the first area in the second area;

extracting the second data from the third data; and

storing the second data extracted by said extracting step in the third area.

A recording medium recorded with a program for causing a computer to transform a second file having a second format, in which a first area for storing first data and an extended area for storing third data, which is a reconstructed second data on the basis of a first format of a first file, are arranged, to the first file, in which a second area for storing the first data and a third area for storing the second data are arranged, the program comprising the steps of:

storing the first data stored in the first area in the second area;

extracting the second data from the third data; and

storing the second data extracted by said extracting step in the third area.
