Abstract

According to functions (the first to the third target position setup functions 242, 244, and 246) which set up as a target position, a position of reference image, a position decided by orientations of multiple cards, and a position of a character image being a counterpart selected in combined actions display program, and functions to display a scene where the character image moves from above the identification information to the target position (action data string searching function 248, movement posture setup function 250, 3D image setup function 252, image drawing function 254, image display setup function 256, table rewriting function 258, distance calculating function 260, repetitive function 262), it is possible to expand a range of card game used to be played only in a real space up to a virtual space, and to offer a new game which merges the card game and video game.

Claims

1. An image display system comprising,

a computer,

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a card to which an identification image is attached, and

a display device which is connected to said computer, wherein,

said system further comprising,

pickup image display control means which outputs to said display device, image data of a pickup image including said identification image of said card from said image pickup means, and allows said display device to display said pickup image,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of said image data of said pickup image,

an identification information detecting means which detects identification information of said card, from said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means,

an object display control means which controls so that an object image associated with said identification information of said card is displayed on said identification image of said card being displayed on said display device, in such a manner as being superimposed on said identification image, and

an object movement display control means which controls so as to display that said object image moves to a predetermined position on said pickup image.

2. The image display system according to claim 1, wherein,

said object movement display control means controls so that said object image which has moved up to said predetermined position moves to above the identification image of said card.

3. The image display system according to claim 1, wherein,

said object movement display control means controls so that said object image which has moved up to said predetermined position disappears at said predetermined position.

4. An image display system comprising,

a computer,

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of multiple cards to which identification images are respectively attached, and

a display device which is connected to said computer, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a pickup image display control means which outputs to said display device, image data of a pickup image including said identification images of said multiple cards from said image pickup means, and allows said display device to display said pickup image,

a finding means which finds image data of each of said identification images respectively attached to said cards, out of said image data of said pickup image,

a detecting means which detects orientations of said multiple cards being placed, based on the image data of said identification images being multiple found in said finding means,

a position deciding means which decides a predetermined position on said pickup image, based on the orientations of said multiple cards being placed, and

an object movement display control means which controls so as to display that multiple object images being displayed move up to said predetermined position.

5. An image display system according to claim 4, further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of said image data of said pickup image,

an identification information detecting means which detects identification information of said card from said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means, and

an object display control means which controls so that object images respectively associated with said identification information of said cards, are displayed on said identification images of said multiple cards displayed on said display device, in such a manner as being superimposed on said identification images, respectively, wherein,

said multiple object images correspond to said object images displayed by said object display control means, and

said object movement display control means controls so as to display that said multiple object images displayed by said object display control means move to said predetermined position.

6. The image display system according to claim 4, wherein,

said multiple cards are placed in a circle, and

said predetermined position corresponds to a center position of the circle.

7. An image display system comprising,

a computer,

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a card to which an identification image is attached, and

a display device which is connected to said computer, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a pickup image display control means which outputs to said display device, image data of a pickup image including said identification image of said card from said image pickup means, and allows said display device to display said pickup image,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of said image data of said pickup image,

an identification information detecting means which detects identification information of said card, periodically or at random times, from said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means,

an object display control means which controls so that an object image associated with said identification information of said card is displayed on said identification image of said card being displayed on said display device, in such a manner as being superimposed on said identification image, and

a specific object display control means which controls so that a specific image is displayed instead of said object image, when said identification information of said card is not detected after displaying said object image.

8. The image display system according to claim 7, further comprising,

a second object display control means which controls to display said object image associated with the identification information of said card in such a manner as being superimposed on the identification information, if said identification information of said card is detected by said identification information detecting means after said specific image is displayed under the control of said specific image display control means.

9. The image display system according to claim 8, wherein,

said specific image display control means controls to display said specific image in such a manner as floating, and

said second object display control means controls to display said object image in such a manner as landing on said identification information of said card.

10. The image display system according to claim 7, wherein,

said specific image display control means controls so that said specific image is erased after a lapse of predetermined period of time.

11. An image display system comprising,

a computer,

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a card to which an identification image is attached, and

a display device which is connected to said computer, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of image data of said pickup image,

an identification information detecting means which detects identification information of said card, from said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means, and

a pickup image display control means which controls so that a background image according to said identification information of said card is displayed.

12. The image display system according to claim 11, wherein,

said background image includes an image indicating a location on which the next card is to be placed.

13. An information processing system comprising,

a computer, and

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a card to which an identification image is attached, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of image data of said pickup image,

a detecting means which detects an orientation of said card being placed, based on said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means, and

a processing procedure selecting means which selects a processing procedure based on said orientation of said card thus detected, out of predetermined multiple processing procedures, and,

said system executes a processing following said processing procedure thus selected.

14. An information processing system comprising,

a computer, and

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a card to which an identification image is attached, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of image data of said pickup image,

a detecting means which detects an orientation of said card being placed, based on said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means, and

a selecting means which selects a processing target based on said orientation of said card thus detected, out of predetermined multiple processing procedures, and,

said system executes a predetermined processing for said processing target thus selected.

15. An information processing system comprising,

a computer, and

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a first card and a second card to which identification images are respectively attached, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of each of said identification images attached to said first and said second cards respectively, out of image data of said pickup image,

a detecting means which detect orientations of said first card and said second card being placed, based on said image data of said identification images being multiple which are found out by said finding means, and

a processing target selecting means which selects a processing target based on said orientation of said first card thus detected, out of predetermined multiple processing targets,

a processing procedure selecting means which selects a processing procedure based on said orientation of said second card thus detected, out of predetermined multiple processing procedures, and

said system executes said processing procedure thus selected for said processing target thus selected.

16. An information processing system comprising,

a computer, and

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of multiple cards to which identification images are attached respectively, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification images respectively attached to said multiple cards, out of image data of said pickup image,

a detecting means which detects orientations of said cards being placed, based on said image data of said multiple identification images, which is found out by said finding means, and

a specifying means which specifies one processing procedure based on a combination of said orientations of said multiple cards thus detected.

17. An information processing system comprising,

a computer, and

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of multiple cards to which identification image are attached respectively, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to a first card of said multiple cards, out of image data of said pickup image,

a detecting means which detects an orientation of a next card being placed, based on said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means, and

a selecting means which selects a processing procedure based on said orientation of said next card thus detected, out of predetermined multiple processing procedures, and

said system executes a processing following said processing procedure thus selected.

18. An information processing system comprising,

a computer, and

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a card to which an identification image is attached, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a reference image detecting means which detects image data of a predetermined reference image out of said pickup image,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of said image data of said pickup image,

a detecting means which detects an orientation of said card being placed, based on said image data of said reference image thus detected and said image data of said identification image which is found out, and

a selecting means which selects a processing procedure based on said orientation of said card thus detected, out of predetermined multiple processing procedures, and

said system executes a processing following said processing procedure thus selected.

19. An image processing system comprising,

a computer, and

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of multiple cards to which identification images are attached respectively, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to a first card, out of image data of said pickup image,

a specifying means which specifies a region where other card is to be placed, based on a position of said identification image on said pickup image, said identification image having been found out by said finding means, and

a detecting means which detects said identification image of said other card from said region thus specified, out of said pickup image.

20. The image processing system according to claim 19, further comprising,

an identification information detecting means which detects identification information of said first card from said image data of said identification image of said first card thus found, and detects identification information of said other card, from said image data of said identification image of said other card thus detected.

21. A video game system comprising,

a computer,

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of a card to which an identification image is attached, and

a display device which is connected to said computer, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a pickup image display means which outputs to said display device, image data of a pickup image including said image of said card from said image pickup means, and allows said display device to display said pickup image,

a finding means which finds image data of said identification image attached to said card, out of said image data of said pickup image,

an identification information detecting means which detects identification information of said card from said image data of said identification image which is found out by said finding means,

an object display control means which controls so that an object image associated with said identification information of said card is displayed on said identification image of said card displayed on said display device, in such a manner as being superimposed on said identification image, and

a placing orientation detecting means which detects an orientation of said card being placed, based on said image data of said identification image, wherein,

said object is an object indicating a character in the video game, and

said system controls so that a posture of said object image is changed according to said orientation of said card which is detected in said placing orientation detecting means.

22. A video game system comprising,

a computer,

an image pickup means which is connected to said computer and picks up an image of multiple cards to which identification images are respectively attached, and

a display device which is connected to said computer, wherein,

said system further comprising,

a finding means which finds image data of each of said identification images respectively attached to said multiple cards, out of said image data of said pickup image,

an identification information detecting means which detects identification information of said multiple cards from the image data of said multiple identification images found out by said finding means,

an object display control means which controls so as to display that object images respectively associated with said identification information of said multiple cards, respectively on said identification images of said multiple cards displayed on said display device, and

a placing orientation detecting means which detects orientations of said multiple cards being placed, from said image data of said multiple identification images, wherein,

said object is an object indicating a character in a video game, and

said system further comprising a scenario proceeding means which allows a scenario of said video game to proceed according to a combination of orientations of said multiple cards which are detected by said placing orientation detecting means.

23. The video game system according to claim 22, wherein,

said scenario proceeding means, specifies one object or all the objects out of said multiple objects, according to a combination of orientations of said multiple cards being placed, and also specifies an action of said one object or all the objects thus specified.
