1. A method of forming a coating for a medical device carrying an agent, comprising:
- applying a first composition including a polymer to at least a portion of a medical device to form a first coating, said polymer having a solubility parameter not greater than approximately 11.5 (cal/cm3)1/2, and wherein said first coating reduces the rate of release of said agent from said medical device.
