a working surface including a plurality of linear raised ridges and a plurality of linear recessed valleys wherein the valleys are independent and separated from one another by the raised ridges and wherein the raised ridges are independent and separated from one another by the valleys;
an adhesive at the working surface of each valley, wherein the working surface of the peak is substantially free of adhesive;
a substantially continuously planar backing surface opposite the working surface;
a support layer secured to the backing surface.

a homogenous sheet including;
a working surface including a plurality of parallel raised ridges and a plurality of parallel recessed valleys wherein the valleys are independent and separated from one another by the raised ridges and wherein the raised ridges are independent and separated from one another by the valleys; and
a substantially continuously planar backing surface opposite the working surface;
an adhesive at the working surface of each valley, wherein the working surface of the peak is substantially free of adhesive;
a support layer secured to the backing surface.
