wherein the transmitter includes first transmitting means for transmitting, on the first control channel, an indicator relating to data transmission on the data channel, and omitting means for omitting data transmission on the data channel;
wherein the receiver includes second transmitting means for transmitting a response on the second control channel if the indicator on the first control channel is received, and controlling means for controlling power of the first control channel based on the response or an absence of the response transmitted on the second control channel.

communicating on a first control channel, on a data channel associated to the first control channel and on a second control channel, wherein the first and second control channels are in different link directions;
transmitting, on the first control channel, an indicator relating to data transmission on the data channel;

transmitting a response on the second control channel if the indicator on the first control channel is received; and
controlling power of the first control channel based on the response or an absence of the response transmitted on the second control channel.
