Abstract

A electronic gaming device that distributes data based awards has been developed. The gaming device includes an outcome processor that determines certain machine events and an award delivery device that delivers data based awards in response to the machine events.

1. An electronic gaming device comprising:

an outcome processor that determines machine events; and

an award delivery device that delivers data based awards in response to the machine events.

2. The electronic gaming award of claim 1, where the award delivery device is located with the electronic gaming device.

3. The electronic gaming award of claim 1, where the award delivery device is separate from the electronic gaming device.

12. The electronic gaming award of claim 1, where the electronic award comprises an audio file.

13. The electronic gaming award of claim 12, where the audio file is an MP3 file.

14. The electronic gaming award of claim 1, where the electronic award comprises an video file.

15. The electronic gaming award of claim 1, where the electronic award comprises computer software.

a processor that controls electronic gaming device outputs and responds to gaming device inputs; and

an award delivery device that delivers data based awards in response to gaming device inputs or gaming device outputs.
