1. A process for incorporating a filler into an ultramicrocellular structure, comprising (a) providing an ultramicrocellular structure, (b) dissolving a filler in a solvent that plasticizes the cellular walls of the ultramicrocellular structure, (c) contacting the ultramicrocellular structure with a solution as produced in step (b) from which there is diffusion of the solvent and filler through the cellular walls and into cells of the ultramicrocellular structure, and (d) removing the solvent from the ultramicrocellular structure.
