Abstract

The invention is an automated system that works in the data center of certification offices connected to the internet which enables a member of the any of the certification offices to certify his document electronically from a distance using a computer connected to the internet, digital pad, an electronic pen and a printer.

Claims

1. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system the comprises:

a 2D barcode that is generated and printed by a certification module where said 2D barcode is generated by a encryption method where a system encryption key is generated by a main module which said encryption key is used to encrypt said 2D barcode and said 2D barcode is read by an verification module.

2. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 1 where said Main Module runs on the application server which connects to a database server in a data center of a polarity of certification offices that is connected to the Internet where said main module updates its data by connecting to other databases or by other modules.

3. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 1, which includes an Admin Module which runs on an application server that is connected to the Internet.

4. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 1, which includes a Registration Module which runs on the application server.

An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 1, where said Certification Module checks the member number, password and signature before entering the Certification module, enters and saves the document information that needs to certify, enrolls member signature on the digital pad using the electronic pen to certify the signature, compares the enrolled signature patterns with the member signatures patterns stored in the database, if the signature is correct the system displays the member signature, his company stamp, certification office stamp, Certification number, Certification date, Certification time and a 2D barcode, said member can print the certified letter displayed on his printer that is connected to his PC, said member can authorize printing to another person who can use an Authorization Module to print the certified document, where the transaction amount is directly deducted from a member account and where all of the certified document information is saved in the database to verify its correctness and safety from fraud.

An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 1, where said Authorization Module checks the Authorized person number, password before entering the module which is authorized by said Certification module, and the member can print the certified letter displayed on his printer.

An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 1, where said Online Verification Module checks the Verifier number, password before entering the module, retrieves the document to verify by entering the document certification number, and compare the information displayed to verify its correctness and safety from fraud.

8. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 1, which includes an Offline Verification Module where said Offline Verification Module runs on a verifier PC and is activated by running that module on a stand alone PC connected to a scanner.

An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 8, where said Offline Verification Module scans the certified document with scanner, reads the information in the 2D barcode after decrypting said information, decompresses the compressed document information and displays it, and compares the information displayed to verify its correctness and safety from fraud.

10. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 2, where said module is activated by an Internet browser.

11. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 2, where a user with said main module can create said key pair one for encryption which used by a certification module for generating said 2D barcode.

12. An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 2, where said main module is used to enter administrators information and enroll their signatures.

An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 3, where said Admin module can be used to checks the administrator number, password and signature, to enter Certification offices information and their stamps in the database to enter Certification office registrars'"'"' information and enroll their signatures, to activate or deactivate Certification office registrars, to provide Certification office registrars with user numbers and passwords, and to print Admin reports.

An Electronic Certification and Authentication system according to claim 4, where the registrar can use this module to check the registrar number, password and signature to enter the module, enter companies'"'"' information required for certification like letter Header, letter footer and stamp, register companies'"'"' members'"'"' information and enroll their signatures in a digital pad using an electronic pen connected to a PC, activate or deactivate signatories or companies'"'"' members, provide companies members with their numbers and passwords and print Member transaction reports.
