Abstract

Exemplary embodiments relate to methods, systems, and computer program products for providing personalized information services. Methods include generating an instance of personalized information including time-sensitive elements, and outputting the personalized information onto a medium that is affixable to a subject with which the personalized information is associated.

Claims

1. A method for providing personalized information services, comprising:

generating an instance of personalized information including time-sensitive elements; and

outputting the personalized information onto a medium that is affixable to a subject with which the personalized information is associated.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the outputting includes incorporating elements onto the medium operable for transmitting at least a portion of the personalized information over a network.

3. The method of claim 1, further comprising:

encoding at least a portion of the personalized information.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the personalized information includes at least one of:

subject identification information comprising at least one of;

a subject name;

a subject age;

a subject description;

a subject gender; and

a subject address;

a health condition associated with the subject; and

emergency contact information relating to the subject.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the time-sensitive elements include at least one of:

a temporary medical condition associated with the subject;

medical care instructions;

medications recently ingested;

a current date or time; and

a temporary location frequented by the subject.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein at least a portion of personalized information output to the medium self-destructs over a time period that is commensurate with the time-sensitive elements

7. The method of claim 6, further comprising:

reconstructing destroyed personalized information.

8. A system for providing personalized information services, comprising:

a descriptor assembly application executing on a processor device, the descriptor assembly application generating an instance of personalized information including time-sensitive elements; and

an output device in communication with the descriptor assembly application for outputting the personalized information onto a medium that is affixable to a subject with which the personalized information is associated.

9. The system of claim 8, wherein the output device outputs elements onto the medium operable for transmitting at least a portion of the personalized information over a network.

10. The system of claim 8, wherein the descriptor assembly application further performs:

encoding at least a portion of the personalized information.

11. The system of claim 8, wherein the personalized information includes at least one of:

subject identification information comprising at least one of;

a subject name;

a subject age;

a subject description;

a subject gender; and

a subject address;

a health condition associated with the subject; and

emergency contact information relating to the subject.

12. The system of claim 8, wherein the time-sensitive elements include at least one of:

a temporary medical condition associated with the subject;

medical care instructions;

medications recently ingested;

a current date or time; and

a temporary location frequented by the subject.

13. The system of claim 8, wherein at least a portion of personalized information output onto the medium self-destructs over a time period that is commensurate with the time-sensitive elements.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein the descriptor assembly application further performs:

reconstructing destroyed personalized information

15. A computer program product for providing personalized information services, the computer program product including instructions for performing the steps of:

generating an instance of personalized information including time-sensitive elements; and

outputting the personalized information onto a medium that is affixable to a subject with which the personalized information is associated.

16. The computer program product of claim 15, wherein the outputting includes incorporating elements onto the medium operable for transmitting at least a portion of the personalized information over a network.

17. The computer program product of claim 15, further comprising instructions for performing:

encoding at least a portion of the personalized information.

18. The computer program product of claim 15, wherein the personalized information includes at least one of:

subject identification information comprising at least one of;

a subject name;

a subject age;

a subject description;

a subject gender; and

a subject address;

a health condition associated with the subject; and

emergency contact information relating to the subject.

19. The computer program product of claim 15, wherein the time-sensitive elements include at least one of:

a temporary medical condition associated with the subject;

medical care instructions;

medications recently ingested;

a current date or time; and

a temporary location frequented by the subject.

20. The computer program product of claim 15, wherein at least a portion of the personalized information output onto the medium self-destructs over a time period that is commensurate with the time-sensitive elements.

21. The computer program product of claim 20, further comprising instructions for performing:

reconstructing destroyed personalized information.

22. A personalized information artifact, comprising:

a substrate imprinted with personalized information including time-sensitive elements; and

a material operable for affixing the substrate to a subject with which the personalized information is associated.

23. The personalized information artifact of claim 22, further comprising elements imprinted onto the substrate operable for transmitting at least a portion of the personalized information over a network.

24. The personalized information artifact of claim 22, wherein at least a portion of the personalized information is encoded onto the substrate.

25. The personalized information artifact of claim 22, wherein the personalized information includes at least one of:

subject identification information comprising at least one of;

a subject name;

a subject age;

a subject description;

a subject gender; and

a subject address;

a health condition associated with the subject; and

emergency contact information relating to the subject.

26. The personalized information artifact of claim 22, wherein the time-sensitive elements include at least one of:

a temporary medical condition associated with the subject;

medical care instructions;

medications recently ingested;

a current date or time; and

a temporary location frequented by the subject.

27. The personalized information artifact of claim 22, wherein at least a portion of the personalized information imprinted on the substrate self-destructs over a time period that is commensurate with the time-sensitive elements.

28. The personalized information artifact of claim 27, wherein self-destructing elements of the substrate are imprinted using intelligent ink comprising at least one of:

thermochromic;

electrochromic; and

photochromic ink properties.

29. The personalized information artifact of claim 28, wherein the self-destructing personalized information is reconstructable.
