Abstract

A communication partner to be kept secret is registered as a security member. When an incoming call has arrived, an incoming call notification operation is normally performed if the transmission source is not a security member. If the transmission source is a security member, no incoming call notification operation is performed. Instead, the display color of a clock always displayed in, e.g., the standby image is changed to a display color which the user himself or herself sets and he or she alone knows.

Claims

1. A communication terminal comprising:

a data memory configured to store entry data;

means for setting entry data stored in the data memory as an object to be kept secret;

means for checking, if an incoming call has arrived, whether entry data corresponding to a transmission source is stored in the data memory;

means for checking, if entry data corresponding to the transmission source is stored in the data memory, whether the stored entry data is set as an object to be kept secret; and

means for inhibiting an incoming call notification operation, if the stored entry data is set as an object to be kept secret.

2. The terminal according to claim 1, further comprising display form changing means for changing a display form, from a first form to a second form, of display data displayed on a display if the incoming call has arrived, if the stored entry data is set as an object to be kept secret.

3. The terminal according to claim 2, wherein the display form changing means changes at least one of a display color, display type, display position, and display size of the display data.

4. The terminal according to claim 3, wherein when the display data includes display data of a clock, the display form changing means changes at least one of a display color, display type, display position, and display size of the display data of a clock.

5. The terminal according to claim 2, wherein the display form changing means comprises:

means for checking a type of the incoming call; and

means for changing, in accordance with the check result of the incoming call type, a display form of the display data to a different form corresponding to the incoming call type, without changing display contents of the display data.

6. The terminal according to claim 2, wherein the display form changing means comprises means for setting the second form corresponding to a user'"'"'s operation.

7. The terminal according to claim 1, further comprising:

mode setting means for setting a normal mode and security mode; and

means for setting the entry data as an object to be kept secret executable in the security mode, and unexecutable in the normal mode.

8. The terminal according to claim 1, further comprising:

mode setting means for setting a normal mode and security mode;

means for forming and storing at least incoming call log information, if the incoming call has arrived; and

means for confirming the stored incoming call log information executable in the security mode, and unexecutable in the normal mode.

9. The terminal according to claim 6, further comprising:

mode setting means for setting a normal mode and security mode; and

means for setting the second form in accordance with the user'"'"'s operation executable in the security mode, and unexecutable in the normal mode.

10. The terminal according to claim 7, wherein the mode setting means comprises:

means for accepting input of a hidden command when display image data not including a guidance which prompts input of the hidden command is displayed; and

means for collating the input hidden command with a prestored hidden command, and setting the security mode if the two commands match.

11. The terminal according to claim 7, wherein when the communication terminal has a structure in which first and second housings are connected to be openable/closable, and comprises means for detecting open/close of the first and second housings,

the mode setting means terminates the security mode and sets the normal mode, if it is detected that the first and second housings are closed in the security mode.

12. The terminal according to claim 7, wherein the mode setting means terminates the security mode and sets the normal mode, if no input operation is performed over a preset time in the security mode.

13. The terminal according to claim 8, wherein the mode setting means comprises:

means for accepting input of a hidden command when display image data not including a guidance which prompts input of the hidden command is displayed; and

means for collating the input hidden command with a prestored hidden command, and setting the security mode if the two commands match.

14. The terminal according to claim 8, wherein when the communication terminal has a structure in which first and second housings are connected to be openable/closable, and comprises means for detecting open/close of the first and second housings,

the mode setting means terminates the security mode and sets the normal mode, if it is detected that the first and second housings are closed in the security mode.

15. The terminal according to claim 8, wherein the mode setting means terminates the security mode and sets the normal mode, if no input operation is performed over a preset time in the security mode.

16. The terminal according to claim 9, wherein the mode setting means comprises:

means for accepting input of a hidden command when display image data not including a guidance which prompts input of the hidden command is displayed; and

means for collating the input hidden command with a prestored hidden command, and setting the security mode if the two commands match.

17. The terminal according to claim 9, wherein when the communication terminal has a structure in which first and second housings are connected to be openable/closable, and comprises means for detecting open/close of the first and second housings,

the mode setting means terminates the security mode and sets the normal mode, if it is detected that the first and second housings are closed in the security mode.

18. The terminal according to claim 9, wherein the mode setting means terminates the security mode and sets the normal mode, if no input operation is performed over a preset time in the security mode.
