A gas-powered heating apparatus comprising a reservoir for storing fuel, a combustor communicated with the reservoir for burning the fuel, a switch provided between the reservoir and the combustor for turning on/off the supply of the fuel to the combustor from the reservoir and a controlling device provided between the reservoir and the combustor for controlling the rate of the supply of the fuel to the combustor.
