Abstract

A mechanism configurable to transmit at least a portion of at least one image representation at a peripheral shared image device in a manner that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device, and/or configurable to receive at least the portion of the at least one image representation at the at least one capturing shared image device such as been transmitted by the peripheral shared image device.

Claims

1. A method, comprising:

transmitting at least a portion of at least one image representation at a peripheral shared image device in a manner that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the transmitting at least a portion of at least one image representation at a peripheral shared image device in a manner that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device comprises:

altering a resolution of the at least the portion of the at least one image representation to yield at least one altered resolution image representation; and

transmitting the at least one altered resolution image representation from the peripheral shared image device.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the transmitting at least a portion of at least one image representation at a peripheral shared image device in a manner that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device comprises:

altering a color balance of the at least the portion of the at least one image representation to yield at least one color-balanced image representation; and

transmitting the at least one color-balanced image representation from the peripheral shared image device.

4. The method of claim 1, wherein the transmitting at least a portion of at least one image representation at a peripheral shared image device in a manner that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device comprises:

altering an aspect ratio of the at least the portion of the at least one image representation to yield at least one altered aspect ratio image representation; and

transmitting the at least one altered aspect ratio image representation from the peripheral shared image device.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the transmitting at least a portion of at least one image representation at a peripheral shared image device in a manner that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device comprises:

altering a contextual library of the at least the portion of the at least one image representation to yield at least one altered context image representation; and

transmitting the at least one altered context image representation from the peripheral shared image device.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the transmitting at least a portion of at least one image representation at a peripheral shared image device in a manner that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device comprises:

broadcasting the at least the portion of the at least one image representation.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:

printing an at least one other image representation at the peripheral shared image device.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:

displaying an at least one other image representation at the peripheral shared image device.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the method further comprises:

storing an at least one other image representation at the peripheral shared image device.

11. A method, comprising:

transmitting at least some device operation information from a peripheral shared image device to at least one shared image device, wherein the at least some device operation information is configurable to alter an operation of the at least one shared image device, and wherein the at least one shared image device is configurable to capture an image.

12. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

altering an image capturing operation of the at least one shared image device at least partially in response to the transmitting at least some device operation information from the peripheral shared image device to the at least one shared image device.

13. The method of claim 11, further comprising:

transmitting available peripheral settings to the at least one shared image device that can, upon subsequent input by a user at the at least one shared image device, cause altering an image capturing operation of the at least one shared image device.

16. The method of claim 11, wherein the transmitting at least some device operation information from a peripheral shared image device to at least one shared image device further comprises:

transmitting at least some configuration information from the peripheral shared image device.

17. The method of claim 11, wherein the transmitting at least some device operation information from a peripheral shared image device to at least one shared image device further comprises:

transmitting at least some image resolution information from the peripheral shared image device.

18. The method of claim 11, wherein the transmitting at least some device operation information from a peripheral shared image device to at least one shared image device further comprises:

transmitting at least some image information from the peripheral shared image device.

19. The method of claim 11, wherein the transmitting at least some device operation information from a peripheral shared image device to at least one shared image device further comprising:

transmitting at least some device available peripheral settings from a peripheral shared image device to at least one shared image device.

20. An apparatus, comprising:

a peripheral shared image device configurable to transmit at least one image representation that can be received by at least one capturing shared image device.

21. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the peripheral shared image device configurable to transmit at least one image representation further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device configurable to alter a resolution of the at least one image representation to yield an altered resolution version of the at least one image representation.

22. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the peripheral shared image device configurable to transmit at least one image representation further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device configurable to alter a color-balance of the at least one image representation to yield a color-balanced version of the at least one image representation.

23. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the peripheral shared image device configurable to transmit at least one image representation further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device configurable to alter an aspect ratio of the at least one image representation to yield an altered aspect ratio version of the at least one image representation.

24. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the peripheral shared image device configurable to transmit at least one image representation further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device configurable to alter a contextual library of the at least one image representation to yield an altered contextual version of the at least one image representation.

26. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device operable to display an at least one other image.

27. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device operable to store an at least one other image.

28. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device operable to process an at least one other image.

29. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the apparatus further comprises:

the peripheral shared image device operable to store the at least one image representation; and

the peripheral shared image device operable to forward the at least one image representation.

a capturing shared image device operable to transmit at least one image representation to at least one peripheral shared image device; and

the capturing shared image device operable to receive at least a modified version of the at least one image representation that can be transmitted by the at least one peripheral shared image device.

31. The apparatus of claim 30, wherein the capturing shared image device operable to receive at least a modified version of the at least one image representation further comprises:

the capturing shared image device configurable to alter a resolution of the at least one image representation received by the at least one shared image device.

34. The apparatus of claim 30, wherein the capturing shared image device operable to receive at least a modified version of the at least one image representation further comprises:

a still-image capturing shared image device.

35. The apparatus of claim 30, wherein the capturing shared image device operable to receive at least a modified version of the at least one image representation further comprises:

a motion-image capturing shared image device.

36. The apparatus of claim 30, wherein the capturing shared image device operable to receive at least a modified version of the at least one image representation further comprises:

a capturing shared image device that captures a metadata image representation.

a capturing shared image device operable to receive at least some device operation information that can be transmitted by at least one peripheral shared image device, wherein the capturing shared image device is configurable to capture an image, and wherein the at least some device operation information is operable to effect at least one imaging operation of the capturing shared image device.

38. The apparatus of claim 37, wherein the capturing shared image device operable to receive at least some device operation information further comprises:

a camera.

a peripheral shared image means for transmitting at least a portion of at least one image representation in a manner that can be captured by at least one capturing shared image device.

43. A system, comprising:

at least one peripheral shared image device operable to request at least one shared image from an at least one shared image device;

the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to receive the at least one shared image at least partially in response to the at least one peripheral shared image device requesting the at least one shared image; and

the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to perform a peripheral operation with the at least one shared image.

44. The system of claim 43, wherein the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to perform a peripheral operation with the at least one shared image comprises:

the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to project the at least one shared image.

45. The system of claim 43, wherein the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to perform a peripheral operation with the at least one shared image comprises:

the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to print the at least one shared image.

46. The system of claim 43, wherein the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to perform a peripheral operation with the at least one shared image comprises:

the at least one peripheral shared image device operable to display the at least one shared image.

50. The system of claim 43, wherein the at least one shared image device comprises:

an at least one capturing shared image device that is configurable to capture the at least one shared image.

51. The system of claim 50, wherein the system further comprises:

the at least one shared image device configurable to capture the at least one shared image prior to the at least one peripheral shared image device requesting the at least one shared image.

52. The system of claim 50, wherein the system further comprises:

the at least one shared image device configurable to capture the at least one shared image following to the at least one peripheral shared image device requesting the at least one shared image.
