1. A method for marketing multiple products from a point of sale, said method comprising (a) providing at least one vending machine;
- (b) providing at least a first product to be sold from and dispensed by said vending machine;
(c) identifying at least one auxiliary product that is different from said first product, is to be advertised on said vending machine, and is in a class consisting of (i) products symbiotic with said first product, (ii) products related to said first product, and (iii) products that are auxiliary beneficial products with respect to said first product;
(d) selecting a location for said vending machine that is favorable to the marketing of products in a class consisting of said first product and said selected auxiliary product;
(e) placing said vending machine at said location;
(f) stocking said vending machine with said first product and with primary advertising that is viewable by and enables identification of said first product by a customer in proximity to said vending machine;
(g) preparing promotional material for said auxiliary product; and
, (h) mounting said promotional material on said vending machine such that said primary advertising is viewable by and enables identification of said first product by a customer in proximity to said vending machine.

Abstract
An interactive vending machine is provided that facilitates the purchase of digital media. The machine includes a video screen that present displays controlled by a consumer and includes speakers that enable audio-visual promotional material and informational material to be utilized on the vending machine in conjunction with purchasing digital media from the vending machine or from a source remote from the machine.

1. A method for marketing multiple products from a point of sale, said method comprising
(a) providing at least one vending machine; -
(b) providing at least a first product to be sold from and dispensed by said vending machine;
(c) identifying at least one auxiliary product that is different from said first product, is to be advertised on said vending machine, and is in a class consisting of (i) products symbiotic with said first product, (ii) products related to said first product, and (iii) products that are auxiliary beneficial products with respect to said first product;
(d) selecting a location for said vending machine that is favorable to the marketing of products in a class consisting of said first product and said selected auxiliary product;

2. A method for marketing multiple products from a single point of sale, said method comprising
(a) providing at least one vending machine owned by a first entity; -
(b) providing at least a first product to be sold from and dispensed by said vending machine;
(c) identifying a plurality of auxiliary products that each are different from said first product, are marketed by a second entity different from said first entity and are in a class consisting of (i) products symbiotic with said first product, (ii) products related to said first product, and (iii) products that are auxiliary beneficial products with respect to said first product;
(d) selecting at least one of said auxiliary products to be advertised on said vending machine;
(e) selecting a location for said vending machine that is favorable to the marketing of products in a class consisting of said first product and said selected auxiliary product;
(f) placing said vending machine at said location;
(g) stocking said vending machine with said first product and with primary advertising that is viewable by and enables identification of said first product by a customer in proximity to said vending machine;
(h) preparing promotional material for said auxiliary product; and
,(i) mounting said promotional material on said vending machine such that said primary advertising is viewable by and enables identification of said first product by a customer in proximity to said vending machine.

(a) providing at least one vending machine; -
(b) providing at least a first product to be sold from and dispensed by said vending machine, said first product being owned by a first entity;
(c) identifying a plurality of auxiliary products that each are different from said first product, are owned by a entity different from said first entity, and are in a class consisting of (i) products symbiotic with said first product, (ii) products related to said first product, and (iii) products that are auxiliary beneficial products with respect to said first product;
(d) selecting at least one of said auxiliary products to be advertised on said vending machine;
(e) selecting a location for said vending machine that is favorable to the marketing of products in a class consisting of said first product and said selected auxiliary product;
(f) placing said vending machine at said location;
(g) stocking said vending machine with said first product and with primary advertising that is viewable by and enables identification of said first product by a customer in proximity to said vending machine;
(h) preparing promotional material for said auxiliary product; and
