Abstract
A soybean cultivar designated 1339013 is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of soybean cultivar 1339013, to the plants of soybean 1339013, to plant parts of soybean cultivar 1339013 and to methods for producing a soybean plant produced by crossing soybean cultivar 1339013 with itself or with another soybean variety. The invention also relates to methods for producing a soybean plant containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic soybean plants and plant parts produced by those methods. This invention also relates to soybean cultivars or breeding cultivars and plant parts derived from soybean variety 1339013, to methods for producing other soybean cultivars, lines or plant parts derived from soybean cultivar 1339013 and to the soybean plants, varieties, and their parts derived from use of those methods. The invention further relates to hybrid soybean seeds, plants and plant parts produced by crossing the cultivar 1339013 with another soybean cultivar.

18. A method of introducing a desired trait into soybean cultivar 1339013 wherein the method comprises:
-
(a) crossing a 1339013 plant, representative seed having been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-______, with a plant of another soybean cultivar that comprises a desired trait to produce progeny plants wherein the desired trait is selected from the group consisting of male sterility, herbicide resistance, insect resistance, modified fatty acid metabolism, modified carbohydrate metabolism and resistance to bacterial disease, fungal disease or viral disease;
(b) selecting one or more progeny plants that have the desired trait to produce selected progeny plants;
(c) crossing the selected progeny plants with the 1339013 plants to produce backcross progeny plants;
(d) selecting for backcross progeny plants that have the desired trait and the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean cultivar 1339013 listed in Table 1 to produce selected backcross progeny plants; and
(e) repeating steps (c) and (d) to produce selected first or higher backcross progeny plants that comprise the desired trait and all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean cultivar 1339013 listed in Table 1 and as determined at the 5% significance level when grown in the same environmental conditions. - View Dependent Claims (19, 20, 21, 22)
