Abstract

The present invention relates to a portable display apparatus including a main body casing to form an external appearance; a display panel provided in the main body casing, and displaying a picture; a main printed circuit board (PCB) provided in the main body casing to be disposed on a first side of the display panel; a first coupling member to couple a first side of the main PCB to the main body casing; and a second coupling member disposed on a first side of the display panel to be spaced from the first coupling member to couple a second side of the main PCB to the main body casing.

Claims

1. A display apparatus, comprising:

a casing;

a display panel provided in the casing;

a main printed circuit board (PCB) provided on a first side of the display panel;

a first coupling member to couple a first side of the main PCB with the casing; and

a second coupling member provided on a first side of the display panel and spaced from the first coupling member to couple a second side of the main PCB with the casing.

2. The display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the casing comprises:

a front cover to support a front of the display panel and a rear cover to support a back of the display panel, the display panel being provided between the main PCB and the front cover.

3. The display apparatus of claim 2, wherein the first coupling member and the second coupling member are provided between the main PCB and the front cover.

4. The display apparatus of claim 3, wherein the first coupling member comprises:

a contacting part provided in an internal wall of the front cover, a first substrate coupling part provided on opposite ends of the contacting part and coupled with the first side of the main PCB and a first front cover coupling part adjacent to the first substrate coupling part to couple with the front casing.

5. The display apparatus of claim 4, wherein the first coupling member further comprises a stepped portion provided between the first substrate coupling part and the first front cover coupling part to support the display panel.

6. The display apparatus of claim 4, wherein the contacting part is coupled with the rear cover by a coupling part.

7. The display apparatus of claim 6, wherein the second coupling member comprises a second coupling part to be coupled with the second side of the main PCB.

The display apparatus of claim 7, wherein the front cover is provided with a coupling boss inserted into the coupling part, and the second coupling member is coupled by the second coupling part that penetrates the rear cover and the second side of the main PCB and is coupled with the coupling boss.

9. The display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the second coupling member comprises a coupling part that is coupled with the second side of the main PCB.

10. The display apparatus of claim 9, wherein the front cover comprises a coupling boss inserted into the coupling part, and the second coupling member is coupled by another coupling part that penetrates the rear cover and the second side of the main PCB and is coupled with the coupling boss.

11. The display apparatus of claim 1, wherein the display panel shows an image transmitted through a digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) signal.
