- a card account provider establishing a card account using a computer for an approved cardholder;
monitoring the net-purchases in said card account and calculating a rebate based on the cardholder'"'"'s purchasing behavior periodically using a computer;

transferring the rebate to a rebate account using a computer; and
issuing a statement including information of the value of the rebate account to said cardholder;

Abstract
A computerized method and system for implementing such method, the method comprising establishing a card payment instrument account for an approved customer and an investment account for the benefit of the approved customer. A rebate is calculated periodically based on credit card usage and the rebate is applied to fund the investment account periodically. The rebate is the only funding of the investment account accomplished through the card payment instrument account.

wherein the statement including information of the value of the rebate account is a rebate account statement identifying rebate value applied to the rebate account; and
wherein the rebate account statement further identifies an accrued rebate value which has not yet vested to be applied to the rebate account.

wherein the statement including information of the value of the rebate account is a rebate account statement identifying rebate value applied to the rebate account; and
