Buckle switch, buckle including buckle switch, and seat belt device including buckle
First Claim
1. A buckle apparatus including a buckle for receiving a tongue in a releasable locked position therein, the buckle apparatus comprising:
- a fixed contact;
a movable contact that is shifted between an electrically connected state relative to the fixed contact with the tongue in the releasable locked position and an electrically disconnected state relative to the fixed contact with the tongue shifted from the releasably locked position to a released position; and
a slide interface between the fixed contact and movable contact configured so that the movable contact slides against the fixed contact in the electrically connected state.

Abstract
A buckle switch is provided which, in one form, can sufficiently ensure electrical conduction between movable contacts and fixed contacts. Fixed contacts and are provided in a switch main body. In a movable piece, movable contacts electrically connected to one another are positioned in a straight line perpendicular to the movement direction of the movable piece. The movable contacts are separated from or slidably contact the fixed contacts, respectively. The movable contact always slidably contacts the fixed contact. An lower edge of the fixed contact and an upper edge of the fixed contact are positioned in another straight line perpendicular to the movement direction of the movable piece. Thus, it is possible to ensure electrical conduction between the fixed contacts and the movable contacts for a long time and the switching time of the switch can be shortened.

11. A buckle apparatus including a buckle for receiving a tongue in a releasable locked position therein, the buckle apparatus comprising:
-
a normally closed terminal including a fixed contact;
a normally open terminal including a fixed contact;
a common terminal including a fixed contact;
three movable contacts each associated with one of the fixed contacts;
a movable member on which the three movable contacts are carried and that shifts in response to insertion of the tongue to the releasable locked position in the buckle so that the fixed contact of the normally open terminal is engaged with the corresponding movable contact and the fixed contact of the normally closed terminal is disengaged from the corresponding movable contact, and removal of the tongue from the releasable locked position shifts the movable member so that the fixed contact of the normally closed terminal is engaged with the corresponding movable contact and the fixed contact of the normally open terminal is disengaged from the corresponding movable contact, with the fixed contact of the common terminal staying in engagement with the corresponding movable contact with the tongue in the releasable locked position and removed thereform. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19)
