Abstract

A lighting system, apparatus and method that can be integrated into an office or household item. The lighting system has one or more light modules, each comprising three lights of a different color. The light modules further have a cover component having a hole positioned above the lights. The lighting system may further have a cushioned layer coupled to the light modules. The light modules are coupled to a power source and an integrated circuit, wherein the integrated circuit is configured to operate the light modules.

Claims

1. A lighting apparatus integrated into a household product, comprising:

(a) at least one light module comprising;

(i) at least three lights, each of the at least three lights comprising a different color; and

(ii) a cover component comprising a hole positioned above the at least three lights;

(b) a first cushioned layer coupled to the at least one light module;

(c) a power source electrically coupled to the at least one light module; and

(d) an integrated circuit operably coupled to the at least one light module, the integrated circuit configured to operate the at least one light module.

2. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the household product is a pillow.

3. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein the household product is an article of furniture.

4. The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising a second cushioned layer attached to the first cushioned layer, wherein the second cushioned layer defines a hole for each of the at least one light modules.

5. The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising an activation switch configured to activate the apparatus.

6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein one of the at least three lights is red, one is green and one is blue.

7. A lighting apparatus integrated into a household product, comprising:

(a) at least one light module integrated with the household product, said light module comprising;

(i) at least three lights, each of the at least three lights comprising a different color; and

(ii) a cover component comprising a hole positioned above the at least three lights;

(b) a power source electrically coupled to the at least one light module; and

(c) an integrated circuit operably coupled to the at least one light module, the integrated circuit configured to operate the at least one light module.

8. The apparatus of claim 7 wherein the household product is an article of furniture.

9. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein one of the at least three lights is red, one is green and one is blue.
