- displaying a plurality of child windows in a parent window in accordance with a display scheme, each child window being displayable in one mode of a group of ordered modes associated with the child window, each mode specifying a display size for the child window with which it is associated; and
in response to a change in the display size of a first child window of the plurality of child windows, changing the mode of a second child window of the plurality of child windows so as to maintain the predetermined display scheme.
