Abstract

The present invention is directed to a device, in particular a charger device, with a measuring unit (10) for acquiring at least one battery characteristic value.

It is provided that the device includes an arithmetic unit (12) which is provided to determine an ageing-specific charging mode as a function, at the least, of the acquired battery characteristic value.

Claims

1. A device, in particular a charger device, with a measuring unit (10) for acquiring at least one battery characteristic value, characterized by an arithmetic unit (12) which is provided to determine an ageing-specific charging mode as a function, at the least, of the acquired battery characteristic value.

2. The device as recited in claim 1,

wherein

the arithmetic unit (12) is provided to determine a state characteristic value of a battery.

3. The device as recited in claim 2,

wherein

the arithmetic unit (12) is provided to determine an internal resistance characteristic value of the battery.

4. The device as recited in one of the preceding claims,

wherein

the arithmetic unit (12) is provided to assign a charging mode to a plurality of battery characteristic values.

5. The device as recited in one of the preceding claims, characterized by a memory unit (14) in which data are stored, the data serving to determine the ageing-specific charging mode.

6. The device as recited in one of the preceding claims, characterized by an output device (16) for outputting at least one characteristic value, which is a function of an extent of ageing.

7. The device as recited in one of the preceding claims, characterized by a setting unit (18), which is provided for setting an ageing-specific charging mode of a charging current supply unit (20).

8. The device as recited in one of the preceding claims, characterized by an input device (22) for the manual input of the charging mode.

9. A charger with a device as recited in one of the preceding claims.

10. A method with a device as recited in one of the claims 1 through 8, whereby at least one battery characteristic value is acquired by the measuring unit (10), and an ageing-specific charging mode is determined with the arithmetic unit (12) at least as a function of the acquired battery characteristic value.
