a pilot signal generator operable to generate a pilot signal for each of the transmit antennas; and

13. A method of processing MIMO pilot signals in an OFDM network, comprising, for each of a plurality of stages at each of a plurality of receive antennas:

receiving an input signal;
generating a channel estimate based on the input signal;
generating a reconstructed signal based on the channel estimate; and
