Abstract

The operation of appliances in a home network is to be made more user-friendly, for which purpose provision is made for the hearing device remote control unit to be integrated as a component in a network. This would, for example, enable warning signals triggered by the network to be provided in the hearing devices.

13. A hearing device remote control unit linked to a hearing device, comprising:

a data interface for transferring data between the hearing device and a data network,

wherein the data network is a low-rated network.

14. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 13, wherein the hearing device remote control unit is a relay station.

15. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 13, wherein the low-rated network corresponds to ZigBee standard.

16. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 13, wherein the low-rated network is a low-rated home network.

17. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 13, wherein the data interface has a bidirectional connection to the low-rated network.

18. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 13, wherein the hearing device remote control unit has a display device for visually controlling a plurality of components in the low-rated network.

19. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 13, wherein the hearing device remote control unit has a plurality of operating elements for controlling a plurality of components in the low-rated network.

20. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 13, wherein the hearing device remote control unit has a data processing device in which a plurality of statuses of components in the low-rated network are predefined and checked when a user leaves a house.

21. A hearing device system, comprising

a hearing device;

a hearing device remote control unit; and

an acoustic signal trigger which triggers an acoustic signal in the hearing device in response to a predefined incoming data in the hearing device remote control unit.

22. The hearing device system as claimed in claim 21, wherein an acoustic signal type depends on the predefined incoming data.

23. The hearing device system as claimed in claim 21, wherein an acoustic signal sound depends on the predefined incoming data.

24. A hearing device remote control unit linked to a hearing device, comprising:

a data interface for transferring data between the hearing device and a data network;

a display device for visually controlling a plurality of components in the data network;

a plurality of operating elements for controlling the components in the data network;

a data processing device in which a plurality of statuses of the components in the data network are predefined and checked when a user leaves a house; and

an acoustic signal trigger which triggers an acoustic signal in the hearing device in response to a predefined incoming data in the hearing device remote control unit,

wherein the data network is a low-rated network.

25. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 24, wherein the hearing device remote control unit is a relay station.

26. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 24, wherein the low-rated network corresponds to ZigBee standard.

27. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 24, wherein the low-rated network is a low-rated home network.

28. The hearing device remote control unit as claimed in claim 24, wherein the components in the data network are domestic appliances.
