1. A wheel identifying apparatus comprising:

  • a plurality of transmitters each of which is mounted on one of a plurality of wheels of a vehicle with a given distance from a rotation axis of the one of the wheels, each of the transmitters being configured to transmit a signal when an angular position thereof coincides with a predetermined angular position; and

    a receiver including a receiving antenna located at such a predetermined position on a body of the vehicle that all distances from the receiving antenna to the rotation axes of the wheels of the vehicle are different from each other, the receiver being configured to;

    receive, via the receiving antenna, all the signals transmitted from the transmitters, detect, for each of the received signals, a received signal level thereof, and identify, for each of the received signals, the wheel on which the transmitter having transmitted the received signal is located, based on the detected received signal level of the received signal.
