1. A medical delivery device, comprising:

  • an elongate inner compression member having a proximal end and a distal mating end, a first portion located proximally at or near the distal mating end and comprising a first cross sectional area, and the distal mating end comprising an outer engaging surface, a tapered portion, and a second portion, the tapered portion comprising a second cross sectional area smaller than the first cross sectional area and tapering distally to the second portion comprising a second portion cross sectional area smaller than the first and second cross sectional areas;

    an inner guide channel member having a first end and a second end and defining a channel therebetween; and

    an internal joint operatively coupling the inner compression member distal mating end and the inner guide channel member second end.
