Abstract

A method and apparatus is described to detect the physical approach. The method is useful for passively detecting the presence of people, pets, or robots in proximity to a sensor. It is portable, and functions while being carried or placed inside objects.

Claims

1. A method of detecting the proximity that produces a decreasing AC field when the input of the MCS2 type of amplifier is biased with a DC input and AC component;

2. As in claim 1, but when the biases are provided by an electrical connection to the antenna;
