Abstract

An image commercial transactions system and method, an image transfersystem and method, an image distribution system and method, and a display device and method are disclosed. A reception dealer accepts the transfer of an image recorded on a recording medium in a predetermined format with a handling condition intrinsic to the image, and transfers the image with the handling condition, and an advertisement, in digital data format, and a charge accounting dealer effects an electronic charge accounting transaction for the transfer of data of the image with the handling condition and the advertisement. Accordingly, a forwarding request user is helpful in making public the advertisement by having the data of the advertisement along with the data of the image forwarded, instead of the reception dealer, whereby a transfer fee for the data of image can be made lower. Consequently, it is possible to enhance the usability for the transfer significantly.

Claims

1. An image commercial transaction system, comprising:

a station for transmitting a compressed music content, a music content title, and a photographic picture; and

a server for receiving and storing the compressed music content, the music content title, and the photographic picture;

the server displaying a program table for selecting a music content from the stored music content;

the selected music content being reproduced or stored in a storage device with the music content title and the photographic picture.

2. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 1, wherein said station transmits the compressed music content, the music content title, and the photographic picture with duplication limitation information.

3. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 2, wherein said station transmits the compressed music content, the music content title, the photographic picture, and the duplication limitation information with a category code.

4. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 1, wherein said music content is a MPEG (motion picture experts group) type of compressed music content.

5. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 1, wherein said station compresses and encodes the music content to transmit the compressed music content as packet data.

6. A method of transmitting a music content, comprising steps of:

transmitting a compressed music content, a music content title, and a photographic picture;

receiving the compressed music content, the music content title and the photographic picture;

storing the compressed music content, the music content title and the photographic picture; and

displaying a table of the stored music content for selecting a music content to be reproduced or stored along with the music content title and the photographic picture in a memory.

7. The method according to claim 6, wherein the transmitting step further transmits duplication limitation information.

8. The method according to claim 7, wherein the transmitting step further transmits a category code.

9. The method according to claim 6, wherein the transmitted music content is a MPEG (motion picture experts group) type of compressed music content.

10. The method according to claim 6, wherein the transmitting step includes compressing the music content and transmitting the compressed music content as packet data.

11. An image commercial transaction system, comprising:

a station for transmitting a compressed music content, a music content title, and a photographic picture; and

a server for receiving and storing the compressed music content, the music content title, and the photographic picture;

the server displaying a program table for selecting a music content from the stored music content, the selected music content being reproduced or stored in a storage device with the music content title and the photographic picture;

wherein the server transmits identification data indicating a purchase to the station when the music content is selected via the program table.

12. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 11, wherein the station performs a billing operation on the basis of the identification data.

13. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 11, wherein said station transmits the compressed music content, the music content title, and the photographic picture with duplication limitation information.

14. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 13, wherein said station transmits the compressed music content, the music content title, the photographic picture, and the duplication limitation information with a category code.

15. The image commercial transaction system according to claim 11, wherein said music content is a MPEG (motion picture experts group) type of compressed music content.

16. A method of transmitting a music content, comprising steps of:

transmitting a compressed music content, a music content title, and a photographic picture to a server;

receiving the compressed music content, the music content title, and the photographic picture at the server;

displaying a table of the received music content for selecting the music content to be reproduced or stored along with the music content title and the photographic picture in a storage device in the server;

transmitting identification data indicating a purchase to a station when the music content is selected for storing in the storage device via the program table.

17. The method according to claim 16, further includes a step of billing on the basis of the identification data.

18. The method according to claim 16, wherein the transmitting step further transmits duplication limitation information to the server.

19. The method according to claim 16, wherein the transmitting step further transmits a category code to the server.

20. The method according to claim 16, wherein the transmitted music content is a MPEG (motion picture experts group) type of compressed music content.

21. The method according to claim 16, wherein the transmitting step includes compressing the music content;

and transmitting the compressed music content as packet data.
