1. A method for detecting a state of an apparatus including a plurality of devices, the method comprising:
- first obtaining first information of a first selected device, the first selected device being at least one of the plurality of devices of the apparatus;
first determining whether the first selected device is in a first state based on the first information to generate a first determination result;
second obtaining second information of a second selected device when the first determination result indicates that the first selected device is in the first state, the second selected device being at least one of the plurality of devices, which is not determined to be in the first state in the first determining; and
second determining whether the second selected device is in a second state based on the second information to generate a second determination result.

means for outputting the second information.

a plurality of image forming devices;
a plurality of sensors configured to obtain various information of at least one of the plurality of image forming devices; and
a controller configured to determine whether at least one of the plurality of image forming devices is in a first state by comparing at least one of the various information with a first threshold value to generate a first determination result, and to determine whether the at least one of the plurality of image forming devices is in a second state by comparing at least one of the various information with a second threshold value to generate a second determination result when the first determination result indicates that the at least one of the plurality of image forming devices is in the first state. - View Dependent Claims (11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16)

a first apparatus, including a plurality of devices, and configured to obtain various information regarding the plurality of devices and to determine whether at least one of the plurality of devices is in a first state using at least one of the various information to generate a first determination result; and
