Abstract

The present invention is intended to provide a content reproduction apparatus for accessing desired content with a simple user operation. The content reproduction apparatus has a flash memory for storing content, a flash memory reader, a CODEC, an amplifier, and headphones for reproducing this content, a microcomputer system for controlling these components. The microcomputer reproduces group identification information for identifying each of content groups and detects key operations during the reproduction of group identification information, thereby reproducing other group identification information.

Claims

1. A content data reproduction apparatus comprising:

a content data store section configured to store content data related with additional information including attribute information indicative of each attribute, said content data being grouped;

a reproduction section configured to reproduce said content data;

an operation input section configured to enter operation information; and

a controller configured to control said reproduction section to reproduce group identification information for identifying a group configured on the basis of said attribute and, if predetermined operation information is entered through said operation input section during reproduction of said group identification information, reproduce group identification information for identifying a group different from a group identified by said group identification information being reproduced.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said controller controls said reproduction section to reproduce content data belonging to a group to be identified by said group identification information in accordance with entry of other operation information different from said predetermined operation information during reproduction of said group identification information.

3. The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 2 wherein said controller controls said reproduction section to reproduce other content data different from said content data being reproduced in accordance with entry of said predetermined operation information.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said controller controls said reproduction section to reproduce other group identification information different from said group identification information identifying a group which said content data being reproduced belongs when detecting predetermined number of times of entry of said predetermined operation information during reproduction of said content data.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said controller calculates a point count of predetermined content data in accordance with the number of times of at least said predetermined operation and said other operation has been entered during reproduction of said predetermined content data and changes a sequence of reproduction of said content data in said group on the basis of the calculated point count.

6. The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said group identification information is based on said attribute of content data belonging to said group.

7. The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said group identification information is a feature part of content data belonging to said group.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said group identification information is a feature part of content data belonging to said group and said controller controls said reproduction section to reproduce said feature part of content data in a fade-out manner and to reproduce content data including said feature part in a fade-in manner in accordance with entry of said other operation information during reproduction of said feature part of content data.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 1 wherein said group is further grouped on a main group basis based on a higher-concept attribute of an attribute for identifying each group and said controller controls said reproduction section to reproduce main group identification information for identifying an attribute of said main group and to reproduce other main group identification information to identify a main group other than a main group to be identified by said main group identification information being reproduced in accordance with entry of said predetermined operation information during reproduction of said main group identification information.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 9 wherein said controller controls said reproduction section to reproduce a group identification information associated with a group belonging to a main group to be identified by said main group identification information being reproduced during reproduction of said main group identification information, in accordance with entry of said other operation information.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 9 wherein said controller controls said reproduction section to reproduce other main group identification information for identifying a main group other than a main group to which said group identified by said identification information being reproduced in accordance with entry of said operation information the predetermined number of times.

The content data reproduction apparatus according to claim 11 wherein said other main group has a predetermined attribute opposite in nature to at least one of said main group to which said group identified by said identification information being reproduced belongs and a main group to which said content data being reproduced belongs.

13. A reproduction method for a content data reproduction apparatus for reproducing content-data related with additional information including attribute information indicative of each attribute, comprising the steps of:

reproducing group identification information for identifying a group configured by said attribute; and

reproducing group identification information for identifying a group other than a group to be identified by said group identification information being reproduced if predetermined operation information is entered during reproduction of said group identification information.

14. A computer readable carrier including computer program instructions that cause a content data reproduction apparatus to implement a method, the method comprising the steps of:

reproducing group identification information for identifying a group configured by said attribute; and

reproducing group identification information for identifying a group other than a group to be identified by said group identification information being reproduced if predetermined operation information is entered during reproduction of said group identification information.
