Abstract

The present biometric apparatus and method includes a device with a processor, a transmitter, a receiver, a microphone, a speaker, a global positioning system and a scanner, with the device being operated by a person, and includes the steps of receiving a designated signal with the device, emitting a radio signal from the device, sending with the radio signal identifying information on the person, and scanning with said scanner.

Claims

1. A portable safety mechanism comprising:

a) a device that includes a processor, a transmitter, a receiver, a microphone, a speaker, a global positioning system and a scanner;

b) wherein the device is operated by a person;

c) wherein a designated signal can be received with the device;

d) wherein a radio signal can be emitted from the device; and

e) wherein the device further includes identifying information on the person such that a radio signal can be sent with said identifying information on the person.
