- a shockwave source that emits shockwaves adapted to interact with a patient to disintegrate a calculus in the patient during a treatment of the patient; and
a control and evaluation unit having an input adapted to receive an input signal that is dependent on a blood pressure value of the patient during said treatment, said control and evaluation unit comprising circuitry that generates a blood pressure value-dependent output signal from said input signal, said control and evaluation unit being in communication with said shockwave source and said shockwave source being controlled during said treatment dependent on said blood pressure value-dependent output signal.
