an electrochemical pump configured to facilitate dispensing the fluid from the fluid reservoir, the electrochemical pump, comprising;
a driving chamber;

a second electrode comprising an anode configured to oxidize a fuel present in a body of an animal;
wherein one of the electrodes is disposed within the driving chamber and one of the electrodes is disposed outside of the driving chamber.
