A method of deconvolving a digital image captured by way of a lens arrangement of an image capture device including, in combination with an expression representative of the optical transfer function of the lens arrangement, the step of retrieving metadata associated with the image capture device at the time of image capture and employing retrieved metadata as at least one parameter within the said expression.
