Abstract

A transmission level control method in a wireless local loop system capable of suppressing occurrence of an unnecessarily high transmission level, comprises a step of generating a required reception level corresponding to a classification of data, a step of detecting the reception level of data at a receiver side transceiver apparatus, a step of finding a level difference between the detected reception level and the required reception level corresponding to the classification of the related received data, and a step of controlling a change of the transmission level at a transmitter side transceiver apparatus according to this level difference.

Claims

1. A base station apparatus to perform communications with one or more radio communications apparatuses via one or more radio transmission paths, said base station apparatus comprising:

a signal generator to generate signals that each indicate a respective changing amount of transmission level to be increased or decreased for said one or more radio communications apparatuses; and

a transmitter to transmit the signals generated by said signal generator.

2. A base station apparatus as set forth in claim 1, wherein the signals generated by said signal generator include a signal that indicates no change in the transmission level.

3. A transmission level controlling method to control transmission levels in a radio communications system having a radio base station performing communications with one or more radio communications apparatuses, the method comprising the steps of:

generating signals that each indicate a respective changing amount of transmission level to be increased or decreased for said one or more radio communications apparatuses; and

transmitting the generated signals to said one or more radio communications apparatuses.

4. A transmission level controlling method as set forth in claim 3, wherein the generated signals include a signal that indicates no change in the transmission level.

5. A radio communications system to control transmission levels for communications between one or more radio communications apparatuses and a radio base station, the system comprising:

means for generating signals that each indicate a respective changing amount of transmission level to be increased or decreased for said one or more radio communications apparatuses; and

means for transmitting the generated signals to said one or more radio communications apparatuses.

6. A radio communications system as set forth in claim 5, wherein the generated signals include a signal that indicates no change in the transmission level.
