35. A handheld photocosmetic device for the treatment of tissue using optical radiation, comprising:
-
a housing having an optical window;
an optical radiation source mounted within said device and oriented to deliver optical radiation to said tissue through said optical window;
a pump mounted within said device;
a fluid passage within said device; and
first and second heatsinks mounted within said device;
wherein said first heatsink is thermally connected to said first electromagnetic radiation source;
wherein said pump is in fluid communication with said first and second heatsinks and configured to pump a fluid across said first heatsink element, through said passage and across said second heatsink, thereby causing heat to be transferred from said source to said second heatsink. - View Dependent Claims (36, 37, 38, 39, 40)
