Context sensitive media and information
First Claim
1. A system where media content is made sensitive to a context, such that the media content carries information needed to automatically process the media content in a target environment, comprising:
- a context processing engine which processes a first set of rules and methods associated with a media content object and compares the first set of rules and methods to a second set of rules and methods applicable in a context to decide which rules and methods are to be applied to process media content of the media content object in a target environment.

Abstract
A system and method for making media content sensitive to a context, such that the media content carries information needed to automatically process the media content in a target environment which includes a context processing engine. The engine processes a first set of rules and methods for media content objects and compares the first set to a second set of rules and methods for media context to decide which methods are to be applied on the media object to process the media content in a target environment.

1. A system where media content is made sensitive to a context, such that the media content carries information needed to automatically process the media content in a target environment, comprising:
a context processing engine which processes a first set of rules and methods associated with a media content object and compares the first set of rules and methods to a second set of rules and methods applicable in a context to decide which rules and methods are to be applied to process media content of the media content object in a target environment. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

7. A system where media content is sensitive to context, comprising:
-
an object association module which associates a media content object with one or more object rules to create a context sensitive media object; and
a context processing engine, which receives the context sensitive media object and compares the one or more object rules to context rules to decide methods to be applied on or to the context sensitive media object to adapt the context sensitive media object to a target context. - View Dependent Claims (8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15)

16. A method for processing a context sensitive media object in a target context, comprising the steps of:
-
determining if an object is context sensitive;
if the object is context sensitive, comparing one or more rules and one or more methods associated with the object with one or more rules and one or more methods related to a target context; and
deciding which method or methods to execute based on the comparing such that the object can be processed in the target context. - View Dependent Claims (17, 18, 19, 20)

21. A method for making a media object context sensitive for processing in a plurality of contexts, comprising the steps of:
-
providing a media object;
enhancing the media object with a first set of object rules and methods for processing media content in one or more contexts to create a context sensitive media object such that upon entering one or more target environments the first set of object rules and a set of context rules and methods are considered to determine how to process the context sensitive media object in the one or more target environments. - View Dependent Claims (22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27)
