Abstract

The present invention discloses a terminal for supporting a DCD service a system thereof, and method thereof. A general terminal cannot provide information specialized for individuals. In order to solve the foregoing problem, there is provided a method for delivering contents includes the steps of: acquiring contents at a DCD server; personalizing, at the DCD server, the acquired contents; providing, at the DCD server, the personalized contents to a terminal; receiving and storing the personalized contents at the terminal; and driving the personalized contents at the terminal.

Claims

1. A terminal, comprising:

a first module for selectively providing personalization information to a server, receiving personalized contents from the server, and storing the personalized contents; and

a second module for driving the personalized contents to be received from the server.

2. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the first module transmits a contents request including a contents ID to the server.

3. The terminal of claim 1, wherein the first module notifies reception of the contents to the second module, when receiving the contents.

4. The terminal of claim 2, wherein the contents request is transmitted, when a pre-set condition is satisfied.

5. The terminal of claim 4, wherein the condition is set and stored in a user profile.

6. The terminal of claim 4, wherein the condition comprises at least one of a geographical position variation of the terminal, coming of a designated time, a preferred channel and an externally-inputted value.

7. A terminal, comprising:

a first module for receiving contents form a server, and personalizing the received contents, and storing the personalized contents; and

a second module for driving the personalized contents.

8. The terminal of claim 7, wherein the first module transmits a contents request including a contents ID to the server.

9. A system, comprising:

a DCD server for acquiring contents, and providing the contents to a terminal; and

,

the terminal for receiving the contents from the DCD server, storing the received contents, and driving the received contents.

10. The system of claim 9, wherein the contents comprise at least one of personalized contents, broadcast contents and contents of a specific channel.

11. The system of claim 9, wherein the terminal transmits a request including a contents ID to the DCD server to receive the contents.

12. The system of claim 9, wherein, the server acquires the contents from an external contents provision server, if the server has not stored the contents to be provided.

13. The system of claim 9, wherein the server acquires personalization information to provide the contents.

14. The system of claim 13, wherein the server acquires the personalization information from the terminal or an external server.

15. The system of claim 9, wherein the server personalizes the acquired contents according to the personalization information, and provides the personalized contents to the terminal.

16. The system of claim 9, wherein the terminal personalizes contents to be received from the server.

17. The system of claim 9, wherein the server may receive at least one of presence information and position information corresponding to the terminal.

18. A method for providing a DCD service in a terminal, comprising the steps of:

providing personalization information to a server;

receiving and storing personalized contents from the server; and

driving the personalized contents.

19. The method of claim 18, further comprising a step for transmitting a contents request including a contents ID to the server.

20. A method for providing a DCD service in a terminal, comprising the steps of:

receiving contents from a server;

personalizing the contents received from the server; and

driving the personalized contents.

21. The method of claim 20, further comprising a step for transmitting a contents request including a contents ID to the server.

22. A method for providing a DCD service in a terminal, comprising the steps of:

receiving personalized contents corresponding to a pre-set condition from a DCD server, if the condition is satisfied; and

driving the personalized contents.

23. The method of claim 22, wherein the receiving step may further receive broadcast contents from the server, and

the driving step may further the received broadcast contents.

24. The method of claim 23, wherein, the reception and driving of the broadcast contents are stopped, when the pre-set condition is satisfied.

25. A method for providing a DCD service in a terminal, comprising the steps of:

a) receiving and driving broadcast contents from a server; and

b) simultaneously receiving and driving contents of a previously-selected specific category.

26. The method of claim 25, further comprising a step for:

c) receiving personalized contents from the server when a pre-set condition is satisfied, and driving the personalized contents.

27. The method of claim 25, wherein, when the personalized contents are received and driven, reception and driving of the contents of the specific category and the broadcast contents are stopped.

28. A method for delivering contents, comprising the steps of:

acquiring contents at a DCD server;

personalizing, at the DCD server, the acquired contents;

providing, at the DCD server, the personalized contents to a terminal;

receiving and storing the personalized contents at the terminal; and

driving the personalized contents at the terminal.

29. The method of claim 28, further comprising a step for transmitting, at the terminal, a request including a contents ID to the server.

30. The method of claim 28, wherein, in the step for acquiring the contents, the server may acquire the contents from an external contents provision server.

31. The method of claim 28, further comprising a step for acquiring personalization information at the server.

32. The method of claim 31, wherein the server may acquire the personalization information from the terminal or an external server.

33. A method for delivering contents, comprising the steps of:

acquiring contents at a DCD server;

providing, at the DCD server, the contents to a terminal;

receiving the contents at the terminal, and personalizing the received contents; and

driving the personalized contents at the terminal.

34. The method of claim 33, further comprising a step for transmitting, at the terminal, a request including a contents ID to the server.
