Abstract

An information processing apparatus includes an interpretation unit configured to interpret a command written on computerized document data, a creation unit configured to create a graphical user interface (GUI) component used to perform execution of the command interpreted by the interpretation unit, and a display control unit configured to cause a display apparatus to display document data corresponding to target data that represents a target of the execution and to display the created GUI component at a position corresponding to the command written on the document data.

Claims

1. An information processing apparatus comprising:

an interpretation unit configured to interpret a command written on document data;

a creation unit configured to create a graphical user interface component used to perform execution of the command interpreted by the interpretation unit; and

a display control unit configured to cause a display apparatus to display document data corresponding to target data that represents a target of the execution, and to display the graphical user interface component at a position corresponding to the command written on the document data.

2. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the interpretation unit is configured to interpret handwritten instruction data, which is input by a user, as the command written on the document data.

3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the display control unit is configured to switch between display and non-display of the graphical user interface component.

4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a process execution unit configured to execute a process corresponding to the command on the target data.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 4, wherein the process execution unit is configured to determine whether execution of the process is permitted, and wherein the process execution unit is configured to not execute a process other than a process corresponding to the graphical user interface component displayed by the display control unit.

6. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the graphical user interface component displayed by the display control unit is the written command on the document data.

7. A method for performing an operation of displaying document data in an information processing apparatus, the method comprising:

interpreting a command written on document data;

creating a graphical user interface component used to perform execution of the command interpreted; and

causing a display apparatus to display document data corresponding to target data that represents a target of the execution, and to display the graphical user interface component created at a position corresponding to the command written on the document data.

8. The method according to claim 7, wherein interpreting the command includes interpreting handwritten instruction data, which is input by a user, as the command written on the document data.

9. The method according to claim 7, wherein causing the display apparatus to display document data includes switching between display and non-display of the graphical user interface component.

10. The method according to claim 7, further comprising executing a process corresponding to the command on the target data.

11. The method according to claim 10, wherein executing the process corresponding to the command on the target data includes determining whether execution of the process is permitted, and a process other than a process corresponding to the displayed graphical user interface component is not executed.

12. The method according to claim 7, wherein the graphical user interface component displayed by the display control unit is the written command on the document data.

13. A computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon computer-readable instructions for performing a method for performing an operation of displaying document data in an information processing apparatus, the method performed by the computer-readable instructions stored on the computer-readable medium comprising:

interpreting a command written on document data;

creating a graphical user interface component used to perform execution of the command interpreted; and

causing a display apparatus to display document data corresponding to target data that represents a target of the execution, and to display the graphical user interface component at a position corresponding to the command written on the document data.
