1. A photoreceptor, comprising:
- an electroconductive substrate; and
a charge transport layer located overlying the electroconductive substrate, wherein the charge transport layer comprises;
a polydialkylsiloxane-containing polycarbonate resin having the following formula (I);
wherein R1 and R2 each, independently, represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, wherein R1 and R2 optionally share bond connectivity to form a residue group of a cyclic hydrocarbon having 4 to 10 carbon atoms; and
k represents a number of from 0.5 to 0.95, m represents a number of from 0.05 to 0.4999, and n represents a number of from 0.1 to 0.0001, wherein the sum of k, m and n is 1;
a charge transport material; and
a cyclic ether solvent in an amount of from 20 to 5,000 ppm.

a polydialkylsiloxane-containing polycarbonate resin having the following formula (I);
