A method for removing particulate detritus from a surface, comprising contacting the surface with an apertured dusting wipe comprising a nonwoven fabric having a plurality of apertures, wherein the fabric has a basis weight less than about 60 gsm, at least about 125 apertures per square inch of fabric, and mineral oil in an amount of about 1 to about 15% by weight, wherein said apertured dusting wipe has a pick-up % of at least 8%.
