11. A method of establishing additional reverse link carriers in a multi-carrier wireless communication system, the method comprising:
- establishing a first communication link with a mobile terminal by transmitting data to the mobile terminal via a first forward link carrier and receiving data from the mobile terminal via a first reverse link carrier;
transmitting a traffic channel assignment indicator for a second reverse link carrier via the first forward link carrier; and
transmitting reverse link power control information for the second reverse link via the first forward link carrier, the reverse link power control information associated with controlling transmission power of the second reverse link carrier.
