1. A method of manufacturing a hermetically sealed implantable pulse generator comprising providing a top case and a bottom case and a header, coupling at least one feed-thru to the top case or the bottom case, or both, the at least one feed-thru including a feed-thru conductor having two ends, positioning circuitry in-between the top case and the bottom case, the circuitry adapted to be enclosed between the top case and the bottom case, coupling one end of the feed-thru conductor to the circuitry positioned in-between the top case and the bottom case, subjecting the top case and bottom case and the circuitry positioned in-between to a vacuum bake-out process, backfilling the top case and bottom case and the circuitry positioned in-between with an inert gas or inert gas mixture, laser welding the top case to the bottom case to create a hermetic seal, coupling the other end of the feed-thru conductor to the header, and coupling the header to the laser welded top case and bottom case.
